I love Echeveria blooms. They are tiny but lovely all the same. Should be a fun show

Does anyone know what kind of cactus this is. I’ve had it down as a mammillaria but so unsure. And will it ever grow babies? Can they even grow babies🤣

I got this climbing aloe a little over two years ago and it has never been repotted. When I got it it was close to 4 inches tall and it since has exploded to over 2 feet should I consider reporting or leave it be since it seems to be growing so well?

Does anyone know the name of this cactus, I believe it’s a Cereus Peruvianus Monstrose Apple Cactus. What do you when the plant is not in the Planta library?

This plumosa came in a 2” pot from Trader Joe’s. Literally no growth for six months, and I was sure it was dead. And then she went nuts after being in a East-facing window (morning sun for three hours, supplemented with a low key panel LED light).

I am shook! Two firsts today! My first succulent and my first time ordering from Etsy! I got my plants today, and until I fell in LOVE with the variegated string of hearts, I didn’t think I liked succulents (dont hate me)! The condition of these two babies (hearts and also a variegated string of pearls) is EXCELLENT! Beyond anything I even hoped for! Anyway, I came here to ask about this little guy, he was wrapped in paper with a sticker, like a gift, in the box with the other two. Is it a trinket or something I can grow/plant and if so what’s the best way to please it? (Told you I was new to succulents lol)

My prayer plant wasn’t very happy in its original pot. I repotted and I think it will do much better now but the one side is like this :( … any ideas on how I can help it? Should I remove the leaves that are drooping?

Would anyone know if my Christmas Cactus will bloom again? When I first purchased this pretty lady she had the red flowers, but they eventually fell off. This December will be my 2nd year with her and still no new blossoms😢.

Found these little babies at Aldi’s today. There were a few more varieties… but I didn’t want to go nuts as I’m leaving for vacation in a few days. Short and spiked has got some roots coming through the bottom. Any advice for these lil guys?

Repot yes or no? The one she is currently in has no drainage. I can poke drainage into this one. It’s a bit more shallow but I think it’s ok?

Just wanted to share a picture of one of my favorite cacti, this prickly pear. Not a very good picture because I didn’t have the energy to take it out of the window and it’s a little crowded. Lol.

Someone asked a question about “full sun, or not full sun” with regard to cactus. My answer is that I’m still figuring it out. Most of my plants are still young, and I’m maybe guilty of under-sunning due to that. I am also not trying to prove anything or win best in show ha. After putting this Cholla in the sun today - a plant that I know loves to bake - I took a look around and noticed the mid-day shadows. It was a “no duh” moment of the best spot for these who, yeah they can take 98 degrees and full sun but aren’t supposed to be in Northern Utah elevation etc. Instead of my fever dreams of fake foliage and screens, use what’s already there. The bonkers screenshots below are light meter readings of the mid-day sun (high number) and subtle relief the shadows offer when the sun is a magnifying glass. See me in a week when I change my mind. A little help to translate the above (from leafandclay: “Succulents do best when exposed to between 3,000 and 4,000 fc (foot-candles), where as cacti do best when exposed to between 4,000 and 5,000 fc. Sounds great, but what in the world is a "foot-candle"? Foot-candles are defined as "a unit of illumination equal to that given by a source of one candela at a distance of one foot (equivalent to one lumen per square foot or 10.764 lux)," which is basically a fancy, old-fashioned unit of measurement.”

Does anyone know anything (tips/pointers) on how yo care for a Mother Of Thousands? Mine is growing extremely fast and I think I may need to repot it soon. Haven’t even had it a year and it’s growing up super fast! Here’s a pic of it.
