What’s this brown spot on my new baby snake plant? Its roots look very healthy and all the other leaves are fine, it’s even growing a new one.

I know she’s probably etiolating but I kinda like her look? Tbh I’m just proud of her (and myself) bc during the late spring I got her badly sunburned and had to chop her completely back to the point where I thought she wasn’t going to make it. I had to remove every leaf. Now she’s 10 inches tall, all new growth since the big chop. She’ll never be the same kalanchoe I picked up from the store but I’m proud of how far she’s come 💚

Are these little white spots on my new succulent something I should be worried over? If so, can anyone tell me what it is and how to treat it?

Hey, I accidentally sun-stressed a plant, and it’s gorgeous.

Another gem rescued from a dark corner of a shop that should know better. Half of their really old cactus are rotting because, from what I’ve gathered about the boutiques here, a $200 succulent does not sell. Ten tall, leafy plants are about $2000, and they sell well. Going here feels like I’m at a pet adoption and need to save everything. Anyway. It’s a little difficult to see, but there are four heads. Because of the color, MY head got all sorts of ideas on the species, and I told some misguided stories at the counter. It didn’t matter because they didn’t know the species either. So, hand over your shop, dudes.

Just bought this little zebra Haworthia from a stall at the side of the road and was just looking for some general care instructions please! TIA

I got this as a gift and I was wondering if I could have any help identifying these. I’m just curious! I can take more pictures and add them to the comments if needed!

How much coffee grounds are effective for a jade? Small pot? Teaspoon ? Top of soil?

I’ve had this plant for almost a year now, she sits in an east facing window and I thought she was doing well until I took her down today, I noticed she had dry/dead spots on the top and she was loosing a lot of beans/leaves. Does anyone know what is wrong? Should I move it to an area with more light, or is this normal for this plant? Thanks!! :))

Hi! I’ve never seen my Echeverría do this before. It’s gotten a little wrinkly and the leaves feel soft, cool and squishy to the touch. Is this something to be concerned about? Also I tried diagnosing it and Planta says it is overwatered, but I’m pretty sure it’s been at least 1.5 weeks since I last watered it. Can someone confirm or suggest what might be happening with my succulent?? Side note but I know I probably have to repot this soon (ahead of my Planta schedule) since it’s gotten taller, just I’ve been spending most of the time propagating it’s pups that grew at the base stem.

Echeverría “Miranda” bloom starting. This is one of my favorites!

I’m finding it hard to research how much lux for a sun loving succulent/cactus needs. The lux measured for the one the light is directly on top of is about 30,000. Is this appropriate? Google says 3,000 is the minimum for cacti to grow, but it says elsewhere that sun-loving cacti and sucs want to be 30,000-35,000. What do you all think? I don’t want to hurt my babies.

I’ve had this guy for about 5 years now! He’s gotten really tall from when I originally got him, but he’s lost quite a few leaves and some of them are starting to detach from the stalk. Should I try propagating in the same pot?

Hmm. Do you think the roots got lost in the pot? This species is known for long roots, but… I trimmed them in half and gave the plant a shorter, wider pot. The main root ball looked like a fortress, which gives me hope this one will grow. I still feel clueless on this species, tbh.

My new False Christmas Cactus! I named it Shirley, after my grandmother, who loved this plant! She so pretty!

Fuzzy…Thursday? All of the light-colored, fuzzy cactus I have are (fingers crossed) almost zero stress. They will take as much light as I can give them and adapt within a few days to wherever they are; the tallest Silver Arrow in there is a bit that broke off the (huge!) parent and was thrown into a pot without any of the “wait for a callous” advice. 🌱🤘

Can anyone tell me what this is? It started pretty small, thinking it’s some kind of haworthia but not sure. Planta just thinks it’s an aloe, which I’m pretty sure it’s not. Much thanks!
