Is my Echeveria etolating?
I was initially scared to behead my (very etiolated) Echeveria āPerle von Nurnberg,ā but just look at that gorgeous new growth! š
I grew a monstrose/semi monstrose Trichocereus bridgesii from seed. It's cultivar is yalla bone x tbm clone a from Pacific Cactus. I'm hoping it grows columnar/long form. I'm incredibly excited to be growing this and thankful to my cactus mentor who gifted the seedlings to me
I got this cactus a few weeks ago and it came with this brown spot, Iām wondering if anyone could tell me what it is and how to treat it?
Can anyone help me me identify what my succulent is? Iāve had it almost 3 years, left is when I first got it and right is now... Please be kind, Iām just now realizing itās maybe not getting the sun it should š„¹
My boyfriendās cactus was presumed dead and then it grew a friend, but it still looks to be in poor conditionā¦help? I assume we should cut the small arm off and propagate it?
I was given this string of dolphins to look after for a bit by a family member. They bought it fully grown from a market and kept it outside for the three-ish months they had it. Never watered. There were clovers growing in it for a while and it was flowering when I got it. Iām not sure what to do now, Iāve been watering it once every 14 days and the top growths have opened up for more light while the bottom strings (and the strings directly near the soil) have shriveled up dolphins on them. The plant is in a chair right next to a window, but it will be higher up soon once I put my new plant stand together. The top is so thick I canāt get in there to wrap any vines around the soil to encourage fullness. Iāve trimmed a lot of the strings and new growths have started where I chopped, so what do I do? Should I buy a grow light for it? Chop a lot off? Leave it be? Increase watering?
I need a little advice about this guy- he was beautiful November 29 and now heās drying out after putting out his new leaves, a few days later we were seeing thrips on his neighbors so I dusted him with DE and sprinkled some systemic on his soil and watered. And I might have put him in a shader spot š±š©š„¹ I must have had too much espresso that day š§š¤©
Whatās this brown spot on my new baby snake plant? Its roots look very healthy and all the other leaves are fine, itās even growing a new one.
This comment is directed at Anonymouse on a recent post you replied with an image of one of your succulent bowls Could you list the names of these succulents Thank you
I need some guidance on these types of succulents I canāt ever seem to keep āem alive
Hey, can you help me identify my different cacti?
I know sheās probably etiolating but I kinda like her look? Tbh Iām just proud of her (and myself) bc during the late spring I got her badly sunburned and had to chop her completely back to the point where I thought she wasnāt going to make it. I had to remove every leaf. Now sheās 10 inches tall, all new growth since the big chop. Sheāll never be the same kalanchoe I picked up from the store but Iām proud of how far sheās come š
Are these little white spots on my new succulent something I should be worried over? If so, can anyone tell me what it is and how to treat it?
Hey, I accidentally sun-stressed a plant, and itās gorgeous.
Another gem rescued from a dark corner of a shop that should know better. Half of their really old cactus are rotting because, from what Iāve gathered about the boutiques here, a $200 succulent does not sell. Ten tall, leafy plants are about $2000, and they sell well. Going here feels like Iām at a pet adoption and need to save everything. Anyway. Itās a little difficult to see, but there are four heads. Because of the color, MY head got all sorts of ideas on the species, and I told some misguided stories at the counter. It didnāt matter because they didnāt know the species either. So, hand over your shop, dudes.
Just bought this little zebra Haworthia from a stall at the side of the road and was just looking for some general care instructions please! TIA
I got this as a gift and I was wondering if I could have any help identifying these. Iām just curious! I can take more pictures and add them to the comments if needed!
How much coffee grounds are effective for a jade? Small pot? Teaspoon ? Top of soil?
