Hi this is my first string of plant and Iām very nervous. I got it a month and a half ago now. She started out very long but then some of her bananas started turning black and dried. This keeps happening. I keep cutting it back. Iāve upped my water and hasnāt helped, and just yesterday moved it to a new spot with hopefully a little more light (East to West window). I donāt know what else to do and I donāt know what Iām doing wrong :( can someone please help me?

Hey all, just cant be sure which cactuses Iāve got here, can anybody help me identify them! Cactus One Planta tells me is a āTree Cactusā, Cactus Two I think is a āSilver Torch Cactusā but am not sure and Cactus Three I think is either a baby āOld Man Cactusā or an āOld Man of the Andesā.
Thanks in Advance.

āThe roots of this species will fill up the potāāis the only phrase I remember about this one. It did this year, and it was looking very confused.
Old photo shows the propagations I toyed with before I had to move.
Smashed up shale courtesy of a day of trilobite hunting in Delta, Utah (circa 2018). At the end of the dig, the owner told me take as much shale as I want. I didnāt have plants at the time, so I āonlyā took around 30 pounds for no good reason than decorating the yard. After a few years, most of the pieces froze/cooked/split into thin layers and revealed fossils. A guy painting my house had to remind me, āYou know you have trilobites in your yard?ā

Would you all just cut these off now that the flowers are dry and itās not making more flowers? Anything to do with the flowers/pollen?
Thanks!

Are Lichen considered a succulent?š¤
Just cleaned up my garden today and brought in the plants for winter. I didnāt forget the lichens I found after a big storm back in June. They got a prime spot on my porch next to the screen. Lol

My once beautiful variegated jade is not soft and limp and dropping leaves. Nothing has changed with the watering and just a bit less light due to the season changing. Could this be some sort of infection or powdery mildew? Iāve brought this plant back from powdery mildew once over a year ago and it had been thriving until a few weeks ago.

I have two things.
1. Iām in Florida. Should I take the same winter care steps as other states? I feel like itās a stupid question, but I have some seeds sprouting.
2. Just repotted these guys. Are the pots too big or no?

I have about 8 kalanchoe, all different colors. If I pot them in one huge pot, will they keep their original colors? My peonies outside all blended which is why Iām asking.

My sand rose is stretched out and floppy with tiny hairs! I have a grow light now as I think it was desperate for light but any suggestions? Should I trim it back? Prop it up?
Thank you! š±

I had this plant and it didnāt get enough sun so it got long like this. I put it in better light and the base is doing better but the top is still thin and floppy. Can I cut the top off or do something to make it stronger?

Seeing two together makes me want a fleet. Note, I need to resubmit to have this one added to the Planta DB :)
These grow in Brazil and require some misting on hot days. Honestly, that is about all I know haha. I had potted my first one in some moisture-wicking Vermiculite (it keeps the pot a little humid, and it heats up during the day, Too much vermiculite also leeched the moisture my tall green dudes. It was an experiment I corrected after a month.
But yo, despite being the size of a quarter, the sexiest plant alive goes toā¦

I grabbed this one based on the name. Look at those tubular roots!
