Canât figure out why it looks like there were bites taken out of the leaves of my false Christmas cactus, have checked thoroughly for bugs, donât know what could be the cause of this?! Otherwise, it seems pretty healthy!! Any ideas on the cause?
Hi all! My vsoh has been doing wonderfully and has already been flowering for a couple months I believe. It just keeps growing and growing!! However, the hearts have gotten significantly smaller as it grows. Iâm wondering if this is normal, especially bc itâs flowering, or if I should change anything. Itâs been in a west window its whole life and only gets watered when the hearts can gently fold like a taco. I gave it fertilizer I think two weeks ago. Extra Q: Iâm introducing a kitten into my room very soon and I know this particular plant will be very tempting but itâs so long that anywhere I put it, itâll be dangling too low or too far from the window. Any suggestions?
Planta is telling me to water my living stone plant, but I thought they werenât supposed to be watered in the summer. Do I water or no? Last water was over a week ago during repotting (I didnt know about the watering situation at the timeđ ) **The other plant in the photo has been struggling for some time (shes a rescue) if anyone has an ID that would be great!
Whatâs going on here? I have 3 leaves on the left that seem to be going bad/rotting? I assume theyâre not gunna propagate so Iâll throw them away in the morning, just wondering what on earth is causing those black little dots? Never seen this before𫣠itâs basically happened overnight.. Photos to show how itâs getting worse throughout the day? WeirdâŠ
Saying farewell to a lost brother⊠I got the trio a year or two back and this is the first to go. đąSiegfried will be missed.
Can anybody help identify this cactus?! I have heard it grows berries. Please let me know.
First flower on this Stapelia I brought back from the dead! Only thing is; she really does smell dead now đ
Look at this glow up!! From dying to climbing! Click on the photo of hope and see!
Unfortunately I donât seem to be very good at this. Is there anything I can do to help this plant?
Well itâs taken me 4 years to produce 4, well 3.5, Dark Moon Echeveria Rosettes. The original Rosette was damaged and overtime it became elongated, and then it broke, and then little Rosettes formed, and then they became elongated, and then finally I could cut them and then plant them individually. Not an easy succulent to grow in Philadelphia in a row home with no southern windows.
Whatâs this plant called?
So a few of the leaves on this Mother of Thousands are shaped weird almost like only half of it grew does any one know what might cause this? Iâve checked really well for bugs and donât see any.
Herbert gave birth đ„č! I plucked off his lil' babies so they can grow happily on their own! A big weight off lil' Herbert's shoulders
okie guys, update on herbert again... Project: Save Herbert is officially a go, and I switched him from a northeast facing window to a southwest facing window, completely opposite, and hoping this will help. A few of you guys suggested I should give him more light, so we're hoping this will work! He has plenty currently and looks happy...er. also propoed him up with popsicle stick, mostly because it made me so sad seeing him all droopyyy and sick... đ i HEAVILY watered herbert as soon as he started looking weird, because at that point he looked kinda dry and crispy. the soil is still a bit wet throughout and herbert seems a bit less dry. I think i might pop off some of his budding cacti parts, because they look brown at the base part connecting to herbert, and im worried being attached is hurting them? i migtt pop them off and stick them into the dirt so they can grow new roots. do you guys know if i will need a bigger pot for this? how can i safely pop them off without harming herbert further? thanks in advance đ i hope this will make herbert feel better soon! ps, about the pictures, the first one in herbert basking happily in the sun by his new (temporary, just to see if it works, might move him throughout the day to see where the sun is, he needs all the hell he can get!) window. the two are his lil buds to show you guys his situation and see how i can take them off safely. also its timelapse because i think imma start a timelapse video throughout the day to see if he gets better PLZ let me know what i can change about how im helping him and what u think he needss (he's my only plant and im kinda a newbie when it comes to like all plants in generallll)
I am new to succulents and gardening as a whole. I am to report my elephant bush has grown fast and lush however I am not sure what to do now that itâs gotten this big! Any help is appreciated!
My peperomia Nevada isnât looking as great as it used to. Any recommendations or thoughts about what it needs? It appears more yellow than the picture.
Can anybody give me some advice on this plant and the name of it please.
This is my zebra haworthia. I repotted it yesterday after buying it from a store. I was wondering if I should water it? The soil is completely dry throughout, but I heard you have to wait a week before watering again, is this true?
