I recently got my 30 year old jade plant repotted, and the man who repotted it for me cut some of the leaves for me to make props out of. Theyâre currently in a small pot with drainage (as seen below) Any tips on propagating jade plants? Iâve tried before, but have had no luck with jades while what I usually do to propagate works just fine my other succulents. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Got four new babies today!!! The jade plant and the air plant are both from my local farmers market, and the other two are from tractor supply! I just repotted the jade and will be repotting the other two shortly but I have them in their pots they came in with drainage holes inside of a larger pot so they should be good!! I just gave them all a big drink and Iâm so excited to have them in my little (not so little anymore) plant family now!!!
Not sure what to do with these guys. Anytime I get a leaf I put it there so thereâs a variety. I also chopped the tops off some because they were etiolated. Itâs under a grow light because I donât have adequate sun anymore. The grow light is on the highest setting and I move it closer and closer, so not sure if itâs too close or what. It originated as a salvage from Walmart. Obviously Iâm not the best with succulents. Please help đ
Help w/boobie cactus. Can anyone tell me whatâs going on here? The cactus was moved gradually from inside to outside and I noticed a change in color in the upper part of the cactus. I water it when the soil is completely dry and move into the sun maybe once or twice a week but itâs on my porch with minimal sun hitting it majority of the time.
This guy has been so happy in this pot he even gave me flowers!
Hey Yall! I have a question about Aloe Plant! I have started seeing gnats around my plant! Is there anything that could help?
Hey plant fam Epson salt works wonders as a fertilizer for succulents during the growing season And for my new succulent owners if your plant looks healthy but the leaves are just falling off your succulent is just trying to multiply!! đ
Please help I am a new succulent mom and the leaves keep falling off the bottom of this. This is like the third or fourth one Iâve had to cut so far any advice would help please and thank you.
Hereâs some pro tips 1:Donât water your succulents or cactuses with a spray bottle or mist is will cause root rot in your plant. 2:only feed cactuses with a low-nitrogen fertilizer 3:earthworms are the best natural fertilizer for succulents 4:succulents like crushed eggshells 5:miracle grow can be too strong for your plant if used incorrectly Please be taking care of your plant properly!!! And look at the comment section please and thank you! đ
Woke up to find this little pleated inkcap mushroom had joined my echeveria. This plant has just recently been moved to the front porch but is still fairly sheltered from the elements. Should I be concerned?
I had my plant since February and now she is losing leaves like its rotting and falling off. And the soil smells bad. The other leaf part looks ok. What can I do to save her? Think I probably over fed my plant. When I downloaded this app I just learned how often to feed her.
For new plant owners I know some of yâall keep your cactuses and succulents in a garden just so you know if you get weed or poison ivy killer anywhere in that soil it will kill your plant also bleach it the absolute worst thing you can put around your plant!!!
Just picked up these two from Walmart from their VERY thin selection. Crassula Ovata âogres earsâ and Echeveria âDark Moon.â Anyone have any suggestions on keeping these guys healthy? Especially with the dark moon. I noticed sheâs flowering and I donât have enough experience with succulents to know what to do.
Hi! Does anyone know what succulent this is and why itâs making small clumps where old leaves have fallen off? Iâm hoping itâs a good sign!
Any advice for how to help my succulent? Iâve owned it for years (since before I knew how to take care of plants), and I recently removed the dead parts and repotted it. It seems to be getting worse, though. The bottom drainage hole is plugged up with some moss to prevent all the soil from falling out, so maybe itâs retaining too much water? It does still get drainage, but not as much as it probably should. Itâs in a very warm and sunny windowsill 24/7, and the planter is made from 3D-printed resin.
These spots started appearing on my Schlumbergera. I sent a request for information but Iâm super impatient and hoping it can be fixed quickly. Does anyone know what these spots mean?
Itâs having babies!!! Iâm so excited! I still need to repot it. Iâve had it for a week or so.
Hi all! How should I proceed with this plant? I was thinking about cutting the four new growths at the indicated spots Iâve drawn on the photo and planting them around the main plant.
What do I do with this lady? Chop up the giant growth and pot that, or just go on letting her live her best life?
