I have this (what I thought was) aloe plant that I got from the discount section at Lowe’s. It seems to be growing tall but not necessarily leggy so i’m not sure it’s elongation. i was hoping i could get some suggestions on changing care so it’s not as tall or if I have the wrong plant and thats just how its supposed to be! Theres a lot of leaves broken off from how I got it, hasnt had any issues other than some sun burning since ive had it. It gets decent sunlight from a window and sometimes additional growlight.

Hello plant parents- A friend of mine asked for help with a succulent that was unhappy. When I got the plant, it was yellowing with new growth. I repotted it in new succulent soil, added some liquid fertilizer and gave it back to her owner. After a week, it looks even worse than before. I figure it’s stress from the repotting and removing the dying leaves. Any other suggestions would be helpful!

Hi all! So my boyfriend had gifted me a beautiful Valentine’s Day bouquet that came with a succulent! Upon arranging the bouquet, I noticed the succulent was on a stick. I ran out of room for my holiday cactus, so I decided to plant them in this large planter. For some reason, I don’t think they’re thriving very well. I’m very careful on watering but they don’t look like they’re thriving like my other ones are. Can somebody offer suggestions and help my little babies out? By the way, the white you see in the big pot is DIATOMACEOUS EARTH to try and kill off some fungus gnats that I have flying around so I have treated all of my plants. Attached our pictures of the big container as well as a picture of ones that are doing real well.

I can’t believe how long my donkey’s tail has gotten. Is it recommended to cut them back at all? I love the big long tails, but they lost a lot of leaves as they were trailing over the previous pot they were in… can the roots continue to sustain such a long plant?

I recently bought two tiny 2” succulents online with heat protection, it’s been around 2 weeks and I’m not seeing any new growth and stuff like that. I replanted them because the pot was really crowded but there are no new roots and it won’t grow in my pot, I just want to know how you tell if a plants frozen.

My beautiful jade is turning purple?! Guessing sunburn; crazy bc it’s dead of winter here (7a) and they love sun so…who knows. Def looks like burn marks to me. Any advice on rehab/care/mew placement is appreciated. Currently in south facing breezeway with floor to ceiling glass doors and windows.

Guys.. I am so ready for spring!! I want everyone to be happy or they will get a 1 way ticket to somebody from facebook’s house. 👏 I really want to see this guy grow more than just vertically, I want him to have sprouts. I have tried propagating (you can see one was decapitated twice, you can see how baby he was when I first got him 😭), and I had it for months but it calloused and never grew roots so I gave up. He has grown so much and given me no drama so I was hoping somebody who also has this plant could help. P.S. do NOT look at my jade in the background. As soon as I find a care in the world, I’ll move it from a terracotta pot inside a cache pot to something else. Right now she’s doing great so I let her live like that
