I’ve had this cactus for a few months and it’s about doubled in size since I brought it home! I found that the roots are starting to grow out the bottom of the nursery pot, I’m wondering if I should repot it now or wait until spring?

Hello!! I have a Christmas cactus :). I'm a newbie and didn't realized that the plan needed special care for it to bloom until last winter. I'm hoping to make it bloom this year.. After some research I'm a bit confused because most sources say different stuff. Do I have to please it in a dark or brighter zone? For how long?? Do I have to water it a bit more? I was also wondering for how long it would bloom..? I know they're a lot of questions, but is would be very helpful if anybody could help me please :)) !! Thank you!

So pretty!! 13 inches tip to tip. Only smells awful of rotten meat if I get my nose right in there. Beautiful and fuzzy!

I think it can’t get bigger and then it does.

Hey! I have had this plant for a year now. Recently the bottom leaves have started to turn brown. Should I be concerned about the stems and roots? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Does anyone know what kind of plant is growing next to my aloe Vera? I tried to research a little to find the species but nothing came of it.

Do you think it would be a success if I were to cut this bonus plant and repot it? It seems like it is starting to get heavy and I am curious about snipping it and propagating it or something.

Flo is tryna grow

Hellooo, This is my 4 year old cactus plant that a friend purchased me as a gift. I think it’s started probably around 1/3 if it’s current size. I currently have it labelled as an Eves needle ? But no images online show the yellow flower so just curious. I’ve never repotted it, it’s thrived from being in the kitchen window that doesn’t really get direct sun, I’ve watered it when the soil is dry. Thanks!!

Update! Success! Three weeks in a darker space and 2-3 weeks later we have blooms! I feel so accomplished 🥹
