i would take the lid off and increase airflow. succulents don’t need much additional care to root. i drop my leaf propagations on top of the mother plant’s soil. they only get water very occasionally. mold happens when the soil stays wet too long.

start over. the shape of this bowl is retaining too much moisture. succulents are designed to propagate with little to no water at all, meant to rely on the stored resources in the leaves. they need drier conditions and more air flow.

Don’t fuss over it. They will put out roots just laying on concrete. Remove the lid to drop the humidity, as stated. Fungus is living on the high humidity. The new plants take moisture from the mother leaves. A light mist once a week is more that enough. Bright indirect light about 8-12 hours a day helps a lot. 🍀🪴

I don't cover my succulent props. I just mist them. I've made the mistake of not sterilizing the soil. Im which case I soray down with 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 9 parts water. Saturate the fuzz, and it will help kill off any mold. If you don't have a proper fungicide
