This might not be as helpful as it would’ve been during the winter but theres a fabric tray that you can get online/at Walmart so you can repot inside without any mess!! I have one and I highly recommend it!

Okay I need help…. I like this plant, and it is putting out new growth every 2-3 weeks. But that being said I find once a new leave is visible then the oldest mature leaf starts to droop, wilts, then subsequently dies. The most she is able to handle is 2 mature leaves and 1 juvenile leaf. She is only watered when needed and she also is in east facing window (right on the window sill). Everything I see on line they should be a bunch of leaves… what am I doing wrong?

does anyone know what is happening with this plant? i got it for my friend a few weeks ago and it started to develop these brown spots. it’s about 7 feet from the window but it’s a south facing. not by a heater or anything

Roommate gifted me this lovely asparagus fern, unfortunately as cute as the pot it came in is, it doesn't have any holes on the bottom. any advice on repotting an asparagus fern?

Do you guys think it’s better to wait to repot a new plant so they can acclimate to the new environment, or to repot right away to “treat” (i.e. fresh soil medium, clean pot, etc.) for any hidden pests? Note: an isolation period is observed in either case.

Hello my Planta People! This is my first post after having just joined the app and community. When watering multiple plants in a day, how are you making sure your plant isn’t sitting in the excess water under the pot? And what are some of the tips you’ve learned to be more efficient with doing so? (Some examples I can think of are using pot risers, using a suction straw to collect from the drip plate, batching movements such as transferring to a watering tub & back, etc.)

A recently purchased fiddle leaf fig leaves are curling dry leaves is dropping others. I do realize I just recently moved it. Could that be the only reason it’s dropping leaves and how many leaves will it drop before I should be really really concerned. I had another fiddly fig that I had for several years that I repotted and it died on me. I’m trying to keep this one alive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just got a monstera albo and aurea any tips? It’s in a loose potting soil with bark and a lot of perlite.. the aurea was just transferred to soil before purchasing and was a propagation. HELP THEY CANT DIE!

I need help :( I just got this green velvet and she seems to have a couple of her leaves starting to droop. When I got her all leaves were more erect (not sure if that’s the word lol) but she’s slowing going down and I’m not sure why. I watered a couple days ago and checked it with a moisture meter and says it’s wet so not a dry issue, She’s near the sun and is getting her vitame D, the only thing I’m thinking it could be is lack of humidity but not sure if that would cause dipping.. any thoughts, concerns or suggestions???

So I noticed my dragon scale was looking really droppy a few evenings ago and 2 small leaves where turning yellow :( I watered it and waited an hour and noticed it was back to being dry, I watered again a bit more and the dirt stayed a bit moist. I noticed really quick the bigger leaves raised but the 2 small ones are still dropping :( .. anyways, I let it be and it’s been a couple days and noticed she’s getting dry again… I’m now thinking maybe it’s the grow light that’s drying it up so quick, way before watering day. I was going to water again but I’m scared to drown it. It’s been about 4 days since I last watered. Any thoughts or suggestions? I really love Fred The skewers are for reference of how most the dirt is - I heard it’s a tip to see if it’s safe to water.

Let’s talk moss poles. How do you keep yours moist? The one in this picture is from Amazon and has the moss around a pvc pipe with a wood stake at the bottom so I can’t pour water down the middle…unless it has holes in the pvc…maybe I should check and see if it does.
