Help! I’ve been keeping this plant in water for over a year when I transferred it from soil because it was dying and it was thriving. This is what it looks like lately. Idk what to do! Move it back to soil? Trim the roots? Help!

Just want to confirm- there is NO hope for this silver leaf right?

My Calathea Velvet Jungle needs help 😢 I may have written about this one before! My current question is what do I do with brown/crispy/curling leaves? Do I trim off the crispy section? Trim it farther down? I don’t have the best light for this guy but I’m trying! I have an east window that it sits across the room, maybe 10 feet. It was there for a couple weeks not doing great. I moved it to a north window, right in the window, and I’ve added a humidifier next to it just this past weekend. I just don’t know if I should give up or trim it all back to start fresh or what! I’d love any advice you can give! Thank you plant friends!!

Question: I have these pots from target and wanted to know if anyone has tried to detatch the “self watering” tray… target claims it’s built-in but I’m wondering if I could take it off and take a look

Just got this philo. I think it’s a Burle Marx?? The soil it’s in is rather hard on top oddly & the lower leaves aren’t in good shape. It looks like it’s wanting to climb, any tips??

Im propagating succulents and this is my progress since may 25 (3 months). Any reason why they are growing so slow? I have no idea how often and how I’m supposed to water them, I’ve gotten unclear answers from the internet. The first month or so I sprayed them 2-3 a week. Then I didn’t water them for 3 weeks( was away) and now I’ve been spraying them once a week. Besides fertilizer, what am I doing wrong? Should I be doing more than just spraying ? It’s under a window facing south

I just got this aloe yesterday and I need help with how to proceed. This piece looks like it needs to be repotted but how would I go about that? Should I replant all of it or keep the smaller sturdy stocks in the nursery pot and just replant the bigger one that’s damaged? Any help is greatly appreciated :)

Spider plant woes -I recently repotted this guy and he’s just so sad and droopy. I have others that are nice and tall. Is it just too big to be tall? Is there something I should to help it be taller? He’s at my work, near artificial light, not really getting any natural light. Thanks plant friends!!

I’ve got a pothos at my office that I need advice on. The top, closer to the pot, is getting yellow and has had some spots for a bit. Whereas the ends seem healthy and green and wonderful! I know pothos’ do that - the ends being really healthy. Is there something I can do to help the other part of it? It is in a pot that has a drainage hole but I have it plugged. So I’m sure that’s one step - that I need the drainage hole right? My desk doesn’t have natural light too close. If the person across from me opens their door and has their blinds open, it’s probably 10’ish feet from some natural light. First pic is the top with the yellow and spotted leaves. Second pic is the healthy nice green leaves. Thank you plant friends!!!

noticed a flower on my homalomena camo today :) thought i’d share

I’ve been trying to grow a rosemary branch from the store, but every time I try, it dies. Is it raised to not be able to grow, or am I doing it wrong. All I do it put it in a cup with water. Help?

Does anyone know why my rubber plant has these new yellow-ish leaves? Does this mean it’s not doing well?

Hi new plant friends! I just found this app and really enjoying it for telling me how to care for my plants! Here’s my story about my Janet Craig Dracanea. This plant lived at my work office lobby for years. The plant company that cares for them was going to replace them so said they would just throw them out if no one wanted them. Yes please!! So I took this guy home. First picture is first day I had it home. Plant care guy said it could use some sun, I described I have an east facing covered porch, he said he thought that would be fine. Well, it was 2 hot days and he got real sad looking. So he came in. The leaves ended up scorched and so many were dead. So I trimmed him up with some recommendations from ChatGPT. Picture 2 is now. My question now - is it going to grow new leaves? Will it only grow them from the top? Should I do anything different? It’s inside now, in a decently sunny room. The stems seem healthy and strong. Thank you for any advice you can give me!!

Hello!! I just got gifted two ceramic clay pots and they do not have drainage holes. I am too afraid/don’t know how to put holes in it without ruining the pot. Any advice for pots that don’t have any holes and how to best keep your plant from rotting when watered?

Hi everyone, unfortunately I wasn’t able to revive my brother’s dead bonsai but I want to reuse the pot! I was thinking succulents as it’s so small but does anyone have any recommendations? Its height is 2 inches, length is 5 inches and width is 4 inches. Or maybe any herbs that wouldn’t mind a small pot? Thanks!
