I need Polka Dot Begonia help 🥲 I love this plant so much. I’ve been following care instructions to the best of my abilities but she still seems sad. I’ve had this plant for about 3-4 months now and I’ve not seen any growth, the tips of the leaves are struggling (which I see often in these plants) and she’s actually lost a leaf since I’ve had it. Does anyone have any wizard advice that they can share to help her thrive??
This little orange peeler works wonders when breaking up the nursery soil from the roots gently!!!
I have been experimenting with putting a 1/2 inch layer of sphagnum moss at the very bottom of some of my indoor potted plants, beneath the soil. I did it for my Peace Lily, since I know they have high watering needs, but also tried it with a Philodendron Pluto, and have had success with that as well. Just a little bit of help with retaining moisture that may want to seep out the bottom. I also bottom water pretty much exclusively. Maybe give it a shot for those plants that you don’t want to water as often as they demand 👀👀
Should I trim my monsters down to encourage thicker growth? Or what should I do? I bought it for $10 at a garage sale and I’m trying to recover it the best I can!

My lemongrass are currently on the recovery from being almost dead (I put them back outside when the weather got warmer but it suddenly got colder again) and I want to make sure I give them the best care possible. My dog keeps eating them and I don’t know how to stop her. Any tips?
This is my new plant and the panel and moss seems dry as heck everyday but I received it rotting at the bottom. What do I do?
To keep insects at bay on ya plants and there leaves spray water and white vinegar . Made my own ans works well x

Hello all new to plants here and have been doing fairly well. Downloaded the app just to use to help out a little bit here and there. I have a question I have about four plants that I purchased and brought home. I put them in the spot where I want them to go and they are still their containers. When should I repot them together forever home thank you in advance for your help.

The only thing that has fully worked to fully rid of fungus gnats has been nematodes. I havent seen any in a while which is great because they are super annoying. Im sure ill have to make more applications in the future because ofc they will run out of food eventually, but Im loving the results.
Hi everyone, my son read about doing a leaf prop from a jade plant, so on a whim and a little experiment we thought we'd give it a go. So we removed around 6 leaves from the mother plant and laid them on soil on a plate and misted the soil occasionly. 5 leaves rotted and died, this one survived and started growing fine little roots, I moved it to this pot and I'm amazed it survived and has worked. What I'm wondering is, is it safe to remove from the Mother leaf (which is currently giving all her nutrients to her babies) and repot the babies (it's currently in a pot with zero drainage 😱) Or should I wait for the Mum leaf to completely dry out and die before attempting anything? I'm being extremely cautious with watering as there's no drainage. Any advice would be welcome, I really don't want to get this wrong now we've come this far. Thank you.
What’s going on with my fishbone cactus?? It’s been like this for about 5 months now just growing the long sticks and some of the small ones in the photos. I can tell it’s fine cause it’s still growing but not the waves just long and straight
If ur variegated plants keep pushing out white leaves, cut it back to the last node to reset the plant! These white leaves are parasitic and do nothing for the plant but steal energy coming from the green leaves. Due to the lack of chlorophyll, the plant cannot photosynthesize thus leading to decline!
Hello! Just curious if anyone would like to share their favorite indoor potting soil mixes? I mix my own depending on the type of plant (aroid, succulent, etc) but if you have a brand that you use or soil amendments that you swear by, please drop the recommendations as I am building out a store room that I’ll be sharing with a few people. Never had an air plant before. How do I water something that isn’t in a pot? Feels like a silly question but I don’t think I’m supposed to pull it off the stand!

Meet Ella, my dwarf umbrella tree! Received her as a cutting in October and have had her in water with rooting drops. And WOW. They delivered. She seems ready for soil but I’ve taken out SEVERAL (Pothos) cuttings 🫣transplanting from water to soil so… I need your help. What can I do to improve her chances of success? Thoughts on soil/substrate? Process? Really want her to thrive 🌱 any pro tips appreciated!! TIA
