hey, so i’m trying to be a better plant mom and i have this peace lily (irene) that’s not doing the best. i don’t know much about taking care of any plant, so if anyone has advice for me i will very much appreciate it. i know i’m probably doing everything wrong so pls go easy on me lol 🫠

Hi, new to Planta. My bedroom plants face a balcony door that stays open (with a flyscreen door). The door faces North so doesn’t get any direct sun in Sydney but gets plenty of indirect sun. Which planta light option should I pick Shade or Part sun? I am confused because part sun says ”direct sun” and there is no in between option?
So, I heard that if you dip the cut end in some honey it helps along root chances!? Anyone heard of this???
So not sure the best place to put this but here goes…dwarf fiddle leaf fig; drama. Never repotted, leggy. Should I chop & prop? Or try to repot & see what happens? Either way, curious about tips & hacks. Thanks! 🤞
My plant has browning ends but she’s growing new leafs! What’s wrong?
This plant was too close to the grow light +/- overwatered. I have moved it away from the light and holding off on watering. Should I snip off the yellow leaves? Or could they come back?
I just got a plumeria cutting and I want to make sure I set it up for success . It’s still too cold here in the Midwest to bring it outside I think? What is the best thing to do for a cutting so it starts getting roots ? I’ll take any advice on care, soil and any other tips !
SOS! I honestly have no clue what to do with this plant, it’s been like this since I got it.. new leaf means one drops and now it’s grown these spikes?! She’s in a very bright south facing window, any help if appreciated.

I am new to planting. I just bought a naked root pot and I was wondering how long do I keep my plant in the water before I pour it out? Also why is all of my plants soil molding on top? I put them in the pots twoish weeks ago.
Looking for some feeding advice for my Ginseng Ficus! Gifted in January, repotted in all-purpose soil, and pruned last week. I have 10-15-10 food but want to make sure I dilute it correctly. I’ve posted a "before and after" from Jan until now. Thanks in advance for the help!
Good day all my plant parents! SOIL!? I just ordered naked root pots because they were 50%! I wanna up my game with all of my plants so that way I could be a better plant mom with not over water and being able to check on their roots! With that said with this upgrade, I would also like to upgrade my soil! I tend to use stuff that I’m able to get at Home Depot or Miners to make my chuck mix. All advice welcome please

I’m just wondering if this is okay for most of my plants, I understand probably not for succulents. I planted an avocado seed 1.5 years ago- it has been doing well, BUT now I can’t keep leaves on it…. I know they are tricky with watering. What is the best way to keep it happy? Should get a soil indicator? Or greenhouse it year around to keep it humid?! HELP!
