I just went to water my string of hearts this morning and found a white mold growing on the outside bottom of the aged Terra-cotta pot (with drainage)😭 can anyone explain why this might be happening? For background, I am waiting until the soil dries up and water the plant in my kitchen sink with the water running through the bottom. It’s in a very bright, well ventilated spot in my living room with west and north facing windows all along the walls. When I potted the plant, I mixed all-purpose organic potting mix with this Sol Soils succulent mix. EDIT: I also put one plant food capsule in the soil about two weeks ago

Is this sunburn on my ZZ? A few of the stems have these blotches. She’s been doing amazing, no pests, (ignore the dust guess she’s due for a cleaning) tho last time I watered her I found some worms which the internet and some planta searching said was good news (bottom watered her)

Is there anyone that can tell me what I’m doing wrong 😭 I purchased this rhipsalis succulent about 10 days ago, repotted it into this cute little pot, watered it, and haven’t touched it since (I’m trying really hard not to overwater my plants). The right side of this plant is completely falling apart... I have no idea what I’m doing wrong. Thank you in advance for any and all help!!! Hi planty friends! I’m wondering if anyone has any tips on how to avoid overwatering/getting root rot on high water demand plants. (ie basil, petunias, turtle vine, chives, tomatoes, etc etc) Planta is recommending that I water some of these plants everyday and despite them being in a full sun/SW window and with chunky soil that has orchid bark and perlite mixed in, I’m finding I’m skipping watering them out of fear of getting root rot. I measure with my moisture metre and usually these plants are solidly in the moist range from about 1/4 of the way down to the bottom of the pot. How do y’all water these kinds of plants?

So my echeveria has a couple of shriveled leaves on the bottom, but I read this might be a normal re absorption of the leaves. Other than a couple of new shriveled leaves on the bottom the rest of the plant looks healthy. I also just learned how to water and care for them correctly and have been keeping it pretty dry and watered it well a few days ago. So is my plant ok?

I need some help with this one please. Her name is Hope, as in I hope I can keep this plant alive! 😁 she’s a little unruly and kinda sprawls herself all over the place. TBH gives me a little anxiety having her untamed. Any ideas of how to get her to sit like a lady? I tried helping her out but it’s not really working. I need a better plan. Thanks all!

I have a wondering dude here. I noticed a few of the leaves have brown marks and cuts on the leaves! I don’t know why. I had it in a terracotta pot but today transferred it to a ceramic one in hopes it might just be not holding enough water. If anyone has tips plz help. ☺️✨

Hello! I purchased and repotted all of these plants in the past 24 hours. I am a beginner and know little to nothing about taking care of plants😅 I bought this app to help. All plants were thoughtfully picked out because they are cat-friendly. All pots have drainage holes in the bottom. I used some organic potting soil that I found at Wholefoods. Should I water them or do anything else? These are all currently in my living room which has a TON of west and north facing windows. Any advice would be appreciated!🥰🪴
