Looks like I may have a flower coming in on my sun pitcher‼️ I love helias‼️

Anyone got any ideas why my nepenthes isn’t producing anymore pitchers I’ve had it a couple months now and it doesn’t seem like it’s grown at all

I’m brand new to carnivorous plants and was watering my pitcher plant with regular water for the first few weeks. I realized the mistake and switched to distilled water, but is there anything I should do to clean the plant or flush out hard water buildup?

Hello! I go by B, and I like growing tropical plants. I am hoping to get help potting, displaying, and tricks/tips on growing Carnivorus plants. I grow pings, nepenthes, drosera, pitchers, VFT, monstera, pothos, and I’m learning alocacia and philodendron care now :]

I just bought my first carnivorous plants(!!!!) and have no idea what I’m doing. They seem to be Venus fly traps and pitcher plants in a pre-made bog. One chunk of the Venus fly traps was already dead (see empty brown spot). I bought some distilled water, but now what? The pitchers are filled with gnats (yay!) but the fly traps are itty bitty. Do I need to repot? Fill it in with more plants? How often should I be watering? Help! I’m banking on these little friends to help with my gnat problem so I want to make sure I’m paying them for their efforts 😂

I left my Venus fly trap outside so it could get some sun, three days later..and many, many, inches of 🌧️ rain 🌧️. I remembered 😱 it was outside and found it submerged in water. 🤯 on the bright side it prefers a moist environment, probably a bit too wet for its liking, eh? 🤔. Currently undrowned & leaving it be. Now what? -waiting to see

Hi there, folks, I rescued a very sorry looking flytrap from B&Q today. Hopefully I can give it a chance. Do you think I should snip off the leaves that are partially closed? There are some growing so I'm hoping it will be replenished. I'm in the UK so luckily there's no shortage of rain water for me to collect, but it's getting dark here and I don't have a grow light. What should I do regarding it's winter dormancy?

Update on my my pitcher! Giving my pitcher a lot of light and using freeze-dried bloodworms to feed. Can really see in the difference of the traps that grew before/after i got it

Got a Venus fly trap from Trader Joe’s, any tips on how to give it a long happy life ☺️. I’m building the terrain so far I got a glass bowl, moss, and carnivorous plant soil.
