Any tips because some traps aren’t closing and some are closing way to slow like it took 15 minutes just for it to close the tiniest bit

I usually mist my Venus fly with my spray bottle how often should I do it

Just got a pitcher plant today any tips I’ve know how to take care of normal fly traps is there anything different or what?

Just got a Venus flytrap any tips also I’ve been making my own distilled water. Do you think it’ll work? It’s made out of normal water bottles, but I leave it out so it’s room temperature. Also, I will go by distilled water later

My little butterwort is going to give me a flower!❤️ He got a little banged up during shipping, I couldn’t find one locally to me, and I thought for a while he was going to drop all his leaves. Right now I’m very hopefully because there are new shoots underneath the larger leaf on the left and it looks like it’s going to give me a flower!

I repotted my pitcher plant using carnivorous plant soil. Was that okay to do? Also, I have it in a north facing window. It’s been there about a month and has been doing fairly well. I just feel bummed that I haven’t seen any new pitchers since I first bought it. Any tips or suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

My pitcher plant grows these nubs then they stay like that. Do I cut them all off? Will they grow back? We have rainstorms every afternoon If I put it outside it will get more sun but won’t that be too much water?

How do I know when this needs a bigger Pot and do I have to separate them when I do?

My VFT is starting to grow different leaves. It is only a couple months old, does anyone know what these leaves mean?

My jaw dropped when i saw this and realized it's a flower. I would love some advice on what to do with it now/when it flowers finally. This is the first Venus i have had that did this.

Hi. I’m new to these plants but love them. My pitcher plant is not producing pitchers like it was. They get these little brown nubs that 3 weeks later don’t change. Cut them off? It’s growing but I think it needs more light. We have rainstorms every afternoon so I can’t put it outside because it would get overwatered, right? I use distilled water. I have a small one as well that’s not doing much. I bought a cheap grow light on Amazon and don’t know if I should use it. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY FLYTRAP 😭😭 PLS HELP! It's been sitting next to a lot of flies outside so is it bad if it ate a lot? I really hope he's ok :(

Hey guys, could someone tell me if my vft looks like it has leggy growth? The stems are really long, some sag and some go straight upright. It’s in the window frame in the room which gets the most sunlight in my house. Is this normal growth? If not any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Here’s your reminder to check your water!!! I just went to check on my Venus flytrap, and ewwwe I dunno how this happened… but there was mosquito larvae in its sitting water!!!!! Yuck!!! 🤮 But also!!!! This is also your PSA to not give up on your plants! I accidentally gave the Venus some water with fertilizer in it!!! OMG it almost died! But I didn’t give up on her and now she’s got new shoots popping out!!!
