Google says I'm supposed to let my Venus flytrap sit in a tray of water? Always.. would it be better to have it semi-hydro and some LECA ? Or is it fine in its little pot

I JUST got a Bloody Mary Pitcher plant. I know it only likes lime free water (rain, distilled, etc) and it likes high humidity. So my question is do I also have to use distilled water in my humidifier? I get I should (less build up) but I go through a gallon of water daily per each humidifier and thatās $$$$. Just wanting to see how necessary it is. #SingleMomBudget

After months of trying to figure it out for these guys I finally have sufficient light!! All it took was 4 weeks after moving to a place with a lot more light and using grow lights. Leaves are big again and taking the shapes and colors they want!!! I love My pings.

I repotted my Nepenthes today and tried to straighten them out a bit with bamboo stakes. Hopefully that encourages them to grow up instead of sideways. I put a liner in these vanda baskets so Iām hoping they donāt dry out too quickly (they are watered at least once and usually twice a day) What do yāall think?
