My VFT is feeling the love today x
My Drosera and is growing and finally out of shock since repotting.
What can’t you feed to a vft
Where on earth do you get an Venus fly trap we have so many flies it could have a feast
Why doesn’t my VFT want to eat these gnats? It closed down on them but opened back up a day later
My sundew drosera has lost its sticky?? also the ones on the soil are molding/dying and there is a sort of webbing. i think i may have over watered it because i always had the sauser filled with water thinking it would like it since it’s a bog plant. i also don’t have it in front of a window it’s probably a meter away from the window and it’s a west facing window. any info would be appreciated!!
Heres a Lily update🥳
i got my first carnivorous plant yesterday for my birthday. i’ve never had one before so this is really exciting!! i wanted to feed it so i scoured the house and found a dead fly. very fascinating
does anyone have any tips to keep venus fly traps healthy? i went on vacation and came back to my entire plant turning black. i pruned as much as i could and tried to save the roots because they were healthy, but the leaves and traps (even the itty bitty ones) were completely dead. suggestions? this is her after/before.
Another addition to my ever growing collection of carnivorous plants. The pitchers are so big from such a small plant!
how many traps should be active for the plant to be healthy?
I repotted just a little while ago but right now they are enjoying some evening sun!
is my VFT doing good? anything it might need? i just repotted it 2 days ago.
What’s wrong with my VFT??
Hi all! How do I trim my VFT? Just under where the crispy trap, or the whole stem?
Hoping for some help with a recovering staghorn sundew I just got in a plant swap! I only re-potted it ~week ago and it was in rough shape initially so I’m not expecting too much. Just wondering what people think about trimming stems that are black/withering? I’ve held off on trimming anything so far because I don’t want to stress it more but I’m worried the dying leaves are sapping energy. Appreciate any advice!
Just letting my VFT get some attention she’s worked so hard!!! Sadly still no eating yet but she’s worked so hard and has given me 5 new mini traps!!! Hopefully means we are on a path to recovery and a happy life!
my VFT is making some weird sounds after being potted for the first time😅 any ideas what’s happening?
Have had my pitcher plant for about two months, and it’s started to go dry and crispy. Repotted as the pot was very small, it’s in a south facing window already and I water and mist as and when the app tells me to. I’m going to start only using rainwater for it, but is there anything else I can do to revive it? Recently lost my flytrap and can’t stand the thought of another heartbreak lol. Thanks.
