Why doesn’t my VFT want to eat these gnats? It closed down on them but opened back up a day later

    It could be that it’s not a big enough meal. Also you could cut off those dead heads so that the plant doesn’t have to worry about them anymore

      I’ve been getting mixed opinions about that, whether I should wait for the whole stem to die off or just cut the dead traps off now

      Since the trap itself is dead the plant is just putting its nutrients into a dead leaf
