Had to save this guy from Home Depot. The tray had no water and they were so dried up âčïž this one was lucky and didnât have the humidity dome taken off, so the moss was still a little damp. I have it in distilled water inside a small indoor greenhouse for now, and itâs looking much happier. Hoping it catches a few of the gnats that found their way in there lol.
My Venus flytrap doesnât have any heads cause they all died off will it be okay without food Also I have it right up on my windowsill in direct sunlight so should my Venus flytrap bounce back?

hi everyone! first time plant mom here. i just got a Venus Fly Trap, im trying to figure out the best way to take care of it. I live in an apartment with a screened in balcony and honestly donât see too many bugs. I live in Florida so it gets pretty hot on the balcony. any tips for me? i think she might be dying & i really wanna save her đ„Č

Hey all, carnivorous newbie trying to rescue this 1â napenthes! I trimmed 3 dead pitchers, but the only one that had looked good has now died too :( Even so, new leaves are growing. I have her in this âterrariumâ to try to keep her humid, is this okay? What else should I do?

Sorry for the blurry picture but my Cape Sundew has caught its first gnat!! Only had her just over a week so safe to say Iâm over the moon!! (Itâs the most left black blob in case anyoneâs struggling đ)

This is my first carnivorous plant, a nepenthes named Vlad. He had lots of dead stems on his leaves when I first got him, but seems to be doing a lot better now and heâs been growing lots of new pots. I did notice that a new plant/shoot (arrow is pointing to one of its leaves) which is trying to grow tiny pots. Should I leave it under Vlad or should I separate it out into its own little pot?

Had my cape sundew a week now and Iâm praying sheâs settling in⊠am I best feeding her while sheâs acclimatising? If so whatâs your recommendations? I have her sat in a dish/ramekin of rain water đ„°

Hey all! My poor Sundew Spatulata isnât looking so great. A majority of her has dried up and turned brown. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I keep her in a closed terrarium with a false bottom layer with a LED grow light on for about 10 hours a day. I keep the soil wet/bog-y and open the terrarium once a week for a little airflow. When she was in better health and dew-y, I tried feeding her ground up bloodworm, but she didnât take the bait. I also tried to introduce some moss, but now itâs kinda taking her over. đ¶ What should I do? đ Thank you in advance!

What are some reasons a Venus Fly Trap will not close? I repotted my Venus fly trap on Saturday. It stays outside where it gets a lot of direct light. Even though I really tried not to, I did trigger a few of the traps when repotting. But they have opened back up. I never feed it myself, but I can tell it catches bugs. There are two traps that just opened back up last week and the bugâs skeletons are left in the traps. And I saw it catch another bug Sunday. But today I watched a bug crawl over and into multiple traps and none of them triggered So Iâm wondering if itâs just âfullâ and refusing to eat more than it needs? Or even though itâs caught something since repotting, itâs still stressed out from the repot itself?
I looked inside my pitcher plant today can it have mold?? I am really concerned!?
