Hi everyone! Iāve just bought this Venus fly trap plant from a shop and I noticed itās not in the best condition, Iāve watered it with rain water after some research and Iām just wondering if there are any ways to revive it? This is my first time owning one, thanks!
General care info: ā¢ It's very difficult to grow Venus fly traps indoors because they need lots of light ā¢ They cannot have any fertilizer or regular soil; itās probably in carnivorous soil but sphagnum moss would also work ā¢ They don't need to eat flies very often. They get their energy from light, just like other plants. Bugs are fertilizer for them, so even just 1 fly a month is good. ā¢ The trap will die after eating ~ 3 bugs. Don't worry; it'll grow a new trap.

Itās a bog plant so it shouldnāt dry out and keeping it in a water tray will help. And as much sunlight on it as you can get. It will need to go dormant over the winter too. Mine survive outside all winter but some like to put them in the refrigerator
