Thinking of adding a carnivorous plant to my collection. I’m wondering if there’s one that eats thrips - I’ve seen one with spiralised long tentacles with red fur at my local garden centre which seems to catch small flies. Any ideas or advice welcome thank you!
That’s a cape sundew it eats small bugs like flys fruit flys gnats and mosquitoes you should get it

No carnivorous plant can solve a pest problem, they in fact can get thrips themselves! Definitely do get a carnivorous plant though, they’re great, just don’t try to use it as your solution to pests.
