My vft is flowering! Do I need 2 for it to pollinate?

    I think it’s recommended to remove blooms from these to keep energy going into the traps. Sometimes, but not always, VFT send out flowers as a stress response — this looks a little droopy so I’d reevaluate your conditions

      I was under the impression that this is what they do this time of year. It’s a fairly new to me plant and the older growth is a bit sad from improper care before. I’ve seen a post elsewhere of someone collecting the seeds from theirs and was curious to try this myself. If it does go dormant after that it’s all part of the learning experience for me and im up for the challenge when it comes.

      That’s the fun of plants! Trying and learning new things! Also they look pretty

    It’s really your choice. If you want to make more wait for the flower but the flower can harm your VFT
