Here’s your reminder to check your water!!! I just went to check on my Venus flytrap, and ewwwe I dunno how this happened… but there was mosquito larvae in its sitting water!!!!! Yuck!!! 🤮 But also!!!! This is also your PSA to not give up on your plants! I accidentally gave the Venus some water with fertilizer in it!!! OMG it almost died! But I didn’t give up on her and now she’s got new shoots popping out!!!

Ick. Yeah I spotted larvae in my mangrove bog bucket yesterday. I’ve got to find my mosquito bit granules. I forget where I packed them when I moved, so that’ll be fun 😝 I don’t know if those can be used on carnivorous plants though Glad your plant had a come back!! That’s always the best when they’re able to pull through
