Has anyone put together a “bog bowl” for your carnivorous plant babies? I saw a photo of one (similar to the one attached to this post- not my photo) and have been obsessed ever since! Any inspiration pics or helpful pointers from my planta colleagues? lol 🪰🌱

I haven't mad a bog bowl yet. I have everything to do a pinguicula rock though.

I have all the stuff to make one once it warms up outside. I found a self watering container and I have pitcher plants and a flytrap that should look nice together but haven’t decided where I’m going to set it up yet. I have found a lot of cute ideas on Pinterest for bog gardens
1 like Well, I went for it lol. Made a self watering system with terracotta pots I already had! Kinda loving how it turned out!

1 like May I ask what size bowl is that? Is that a 4” pot in the center?
0 likes It’s a 12” bowl and a 4” pot in the middle. I also added a terracotta saucer flipped upside down under the smaller pot to act as a pedestal, so it was even with the rim of the larger one. It also stops the water in the reservoir from flowing right out, so it seeps thru the terracotta instead 🙂
