I ordered these two sundews from California Carnivores about 2 weeks ago and so far no dew 🫤 I’m wondering if the trip across the US might’ve shocked them? They are getting adequate light and I have them in reverse osmosis water. Should I snip the flowers off to help?
Make sure they’re getting enough light and stay on top of the watering! Be patient mine took a few weeks to consistently get dew after shipping stress.

make sure they're getting a lot of light and RO/distilled/rain water, which it sounds like you are! it might just be a matter of acclimation. my pings take a big to actually produce dew when i move them lol i do snip off the leaves that are dying or damaged, but it's a personal preference bc i find these guys grow so fast lol
1 j'aimeWhen I first got my babies and I didn't have a light on them, I think it took them easily a week to get sticky again with proper care. If you're worried about them being hungry (and you have access to it), you can always spritz the leaves with a little orchid fertilizer.
1 j'aimeTook me maybe a 1.5months with a light to get dew. A lot of the petioles died back and the whole plant resprouted. It’s doing well now. It’s probably just the stress from travel. Keep up on the care. For some reason planta says to fertilize almost every two weeks. I think it’s optional.
