What are some reasons a Venus Fly Trap will not close? I repotted my Venus fly trap on Saturday. It stays outside where it gets a lot of direct light. Even though I really tried not to, I did trigger a few of the traps when repotting. But they have opened back up. I never feed it myself, but I can tell it catches bugs. There are two traps that just opened back up last week and the bug’s skeletons are left in the traps. And I saw it catch another bug Sunday. But today I watched a bug crawl over and into multiple traps and none of them triggered So I’m wondering if it’s just “full” and refusing to eat more than it needs? Or even though it’s caught something since repotting, it’s still stressed out from the repot itself?
