Hi, I’m interested in getting some carnivorous plants and am wondering what are some good ones to start with and like the care they need and a good place to get them.

It depends on where you’re located in the world. Start with pinguiculas. They do really well on lots of windowsills. :3

I agree! I started with a ping and it’s growing great and even flowered. You just keep them wet and in good light. I have mine under a grow light b/c my dining room isn’t very bright. Good luck! 🥰

That’s awesome and I just love how often they flower it’s so rewarding!
2 J'aimeIf you live in the United States, I suggest California Carnivores as a first plant resource :3 Their site has great info, a large selection of ethically grown (not harvested from the wild!!) plants, and very friendly staff. The first carnivorous plant I had real success with was a Cape Sundew~ They need to be sitting in pure (rain or distilled) water and given extra bright light.
