     Any tips and tricks for the care? I have experience with Venus flytraps. Never had these or pitcher plants though

     I got this one at a garden expo. Is the flowering process similar to a Venus flytrap? I’m afraid this one will end up dying

   I think it’s pretty easy going like my flytraps and cape sundews. I just water with Zero water or distilled and keep it in a SE windowsill. Don’t mist it either or it won’t be able to make the sticky stuff they need to catch gnats. The flowers appeared late summer for me but not sure that’s typical. I did have some trouble trying to find the right amount of light at first. I use a plastic pot with drainage and then sit it in water like with flytraps. For substrate I like peat moss and perlite. I also use long fiber sphagnum for the bottom of the pot and the top because it wicks up water and helps keep it clean when watering from the top. I don’t feed it anything, just what it catches.
