Hello! Does anyone have a tips or tricks for money trees? We’ve had this for a couple years. It is in a self watering pot that I think my boyfriend fills once a month. It is kept in a part shade, part sun (so I think) but it’s SUPER light leaves. Some are full yellow! And anytime I Google it, it legit says “could be over watered, could be under watered, could be too much sun, could need more sun.” 😑😑 so any advice is appreciated!

You can see the growth pattern of these leaves, circularly rising. This was already cool to me but then I realized this is creating a double helix formation 🤯

Hello everyone! Just joined and am excited to share space with fellow plant lovers. I’ve been an avid house plant enthusiast for about 4yrs and have gotten into food gardening last year. Just cause I love talking plants, what is a plant you love but can’t seem to get to thrive? Mine is the prayer plant! I love how they look but mine never truly seem to thrive haha here is my current prayer plant and so far so good and I’ve had her almost a year (she is my 3rd and if she goes then I think I will just admire them from afar haha)

Rubber plant individual plants leaning away from each other, with vertical leaves in the center. Added a grow light but hasn’t helped much. Is the light still too low?

question. can i put small ice cubes in my Chives and Thyme newly planted seeds instead of water whenever i need to water them? just wondering if that’s only for a few types of plants or if i can do it with mine.

My MIL got me this ficus for Christmas. Wondering if anyone has experience with these plants, how common it is that they drop leaves (obviously it has a lot of them- acclimation prob/stress?). Also any thoughts on the burgundy spots on the bottom of some leaves. It’s dropped a number of leaves. It was quarantined for a week, but I just saw some tiny oblong white bugs in the tray it sits in. And realized it has fungus gnats. Treating with Systemic Granules & diatomaceous earth. Thanks all! 🫶

Hey I need help figuring out which plant is this , the app gave 3 different answers so I’m confused new to this beautiful plant world can anyone tell me who’s is this beauty. I got it because of the labeling on the pot . But I felt like it might be mislabeled.

Does anyone know what kind of sapling this is? I think it is either a scrub oak (because it is growing next to one & could have grown from an acorn) or a weeping dog (that is how my Planta app identified it). Hoping a fig— if it’s another oak, I’ll be giving it away! The oak is sooo messy and not my favorite!

My sunny star croton was looking really rough. I repotted it and it looks like 2 stalks are dead and one of them is doing fine. Should I like pull out the dead ones or just leave them alone and let it do what it’s gonna do?

where do i trim my emerald tree (china doll) to propagate it?

Hello! I’ve been into plants for about a year and a half now and up until now I’ve never used a fertiliser. I felt like my plants needed it this winter though bc it’s been a long one already 😂, so I brought this one from Charlie’s the other day. I didn’t know whether to go for a super expensive one or one that costed 50p, so I went somewhere in the middle. I’ve been following the dosage instructions but does anyone have any recommendations for my next one? Keeping in mind that I’m still in school so I’d rather not fork out on anything too expensive 😂. Thank you! X

My lucky bamboo plant has grown very tall and is falling over. It’s in a ceramic pot with rocks and water, and leaf tips are starting to turn yellow. Is there something I can do to get it up right again?

Can anyone tell me why my Hoya Compacta is not growing? I’ve had it for about 6-7 months and it’s only grown two small leaves. Never been repotted. Use to be in a South facing window with lots of sun, but now it’s near a West facing window in indirect sun. Just seems to not be growing at all.

I bought this because I read it’s amazing for my plants. But my question is, can I use my liquid fertilizer and this? Or does this replace my liquid fertilizers?

I got this Cast Iron Plant a few months ago, and it’s been developing some stripes on its leaves, some of them stronger than others. The variegation doesn’t look to be as strong as the variegated variety, which I only recently found out about. I recently moved so it’s still adjusting, but I’m hoping this is just a new development? The stripes have been getting more pronounced than before.
