Does anyone know what plant this is? Got it from a friend who didn’t know either.

I just planted a sprouted apple seed (I started it off with the good old wet paper towel trick) and i’ve never tried growing a tree from scratch before. does anyone have just general tips to ensure it surviving? i’m hoping for some apples in a few years!🤞

Hi everyone! For propagating plants in water, would a window with shade or a window with part sun & part shade be better in general? Picture is of my new pitcher plant, not what I’ll be propagating 😊

I need care tips for my Alocasia Zebrina. I have two of them and one is doing super well and the other not so much. So today I decided to chop it down to just the nugget corm thingy. I’ve seen a few people do this but I don’t know the overall care guide to get it to grow back into what it was.

Is this money tree too far gone? It wasn’t reported, and now the bottom of the trunk is soft- assuming it’s overwatered. Do I 1. Cut tries and get a new one 2. Repot, dry out, take off the dead leaves, and hope for the best or 3. Take some top leaves/stem and propagate?

Why is my frosty begonia tall and lanky instead of short and full?

I got this plant from Lowe’s a while ago. I don’t know what it is. I thought it was a variation of the zebra plant, but it doesn’t have distinct marking, just subtle grey ones. the markings looks like a snake plant, but the leaves are cylinder and hard, with spikes on the end. Let me know what you think. Thanks. (Don’t mind the cut parts my cat bit it)

Does anyone know what this plant is? I got it for free and it didn’t come with a tag or anything on it.

Hi all! Need tips to help this guy thrive. New Colocasia Mojito starter plant. Bought this beauty on Etsy and just got it about 10 days ago. The one leaf is dying - dried out and brown (I just misted before this pic). Bigger leaf is starting to brown and im worried it will die too. I assume mostly has to do with being shipped and the shock with that. Best water and lighting for these? I potted into a well draining soil mix (came is a lil soil nugget), well draining nursery pot, water thoroughly when dry, about a foot from grow light and 3 ft from south window. I mist occasionally. I’ve chopped the dead leaf since these photos. Thanks in advance!

Hi, I just bought a ficus a few days ago, and I just picked it up to take a look at it since I notice a very healthy looking leaf fell off, when I went to put it back another one fell off, and that one looks really healthy too. Can someone please explain what is happening? It’s a Ficus Triangularis Varegata. Are some plants really fragile?

I’ve been propagating this golden Pothos cutting for about 2.5 weeks now and I haven’t seen any progress. I’ve also noticed it forming brown spots on the leaves. Is there anything to be concerned about? Are there any way to make it grow roots faster?
