Hi! My partner is having me trim fiddly and I’ve never propagated fiddle leaf trimmings before. I’m wondering if I could propagate the whole section I want to cut (ie if there are like 10 leaves and I remove multiple leaves from the bottom and put into water or soil) or if I should cut the large section into segments (one or two leaves per cutting with 2-3 bottom leaves removed from each segment)? Thanks so much!

Hello Everyone,
I just watered this rubber plant twice and a lot of the water ran out. I moved the dirt around and the soil is not even wet in some areas. I made sure first pour was not at edges.
Why does this happen?
Thank you in advance!

I have a small space right above the patio door in my apartment(east facing). What are some small and easy maintenance plants for this space? I was thinking pothos but I’m worried it willl stick to the walls.

Hello! I have had this money plant for about 1.5-2 years now and it has grown this long stalk in the middle. the lower leaves all dropped. is this normal? How should i support the plant’s continued growth?

I took this plant from work. It’s a philodendron Xanadu. It’s doing really good, but I noticed some of these older leaves. Have this orange speckled stuff. I don’t know if it was a pest at one point. I think it’s also in too big of a pot. There’s a lot of new growth. Any suggestions? Or is it doing just fine maybe cut off the older leaves, I am thinking about downsizing it. I don’t know. Let me know please on that.

Hi all, I’m still new to this whole plant parent game, so I’m sorry if this is a silly question!
This is my double-flowered Flaming Katy which I bought a couple of months ago. She was in full bloom when I got her, but I checked today and it seems like she’s definitely done flowering - she looks like me after a rough night!
So, what do I need to do now to get her looking healthy again? Do I cut off the wilted flowers or just leave them as is? And if so, is it better to cut with scissors/shears or just pull them off by hand?

Is this the right way to use this self watering thing? Never done this before! Getting ready to go on a trip and I’ll be gone for 8 days. Don’t want my peace lily to … peace out.
It was full abt 2hrs ago when I installed it. Top soil feels good and there’s nothing in the drip tray.

I repotted one of my philo plants today. I
Had just watered it yesterday, so the dirt and roots were damp. I repotted it into dry soil, of course. Everything I have read says that you should water the plant after putting it into new soil, etc. Since I just watered it yesterday and the roots were not dry. Should I still water it as Planta advises or should I wait?

Thought I’d share some blooms from my Goldfish Plant and some Sedum Super Donkey Tails I added to my sedum morganianum, Xochi. Feel free to turn this into a thread and share any of your flowering houseplants 🌸🌷

Hi all! This is my first post. I’m pretty beginner with plants, but I was wondering if this plant was too leggy/stemmy and if it is how can I help it? And is the pot too big? Pretty sure the plant is a Spotted Dracaena. Also, seems like a couple of my peace lily’s flowers are turning yellow. I was wondering if there’s any way to help it as well. Sorry for all the questions, but thanks lots!

Are my Pothos OK?
These two are my first. Purchased just 2 weeks ago specifically for this planter. It doesn't get any natural light so I'd been using a clip on (see pic 2.)
But I noticed that the Neon's stems (the Golden too but not as noticeable) were getting taller as if it was desperately pushing up for light. I since bought a more powerful light that I can shine on both from the side.
Is this normal?
I definitely don't want to kill them but I'm also not a fan of how they're looking. I bought them to be bushy & vining not erect like a ficus or peace lily.

Eeee I’m so excited! I just trade a njoy baby for the monstera baby!! First time mommy to one and I can’t wait to see her new leaf coming and her grow up. I have the bars in the back for support but i know im needa moss pole for her eventually. I have her in my bathroom where my window is facing east as the sun comes up. But she’s about 3ft away from it just like my bird of paradise and my njoy and heartleaf. Any tips are welcome!!

Can anyone tell me if this is a ZZ plant or Hoya? I thought it was a Hoya based on how it is with the trellis but the app is telling me ZZ.

My Shasta Daisy was out of control! So I just started chopping… Do you think they will perk up? My guess would be no. (Never give up never say die!)😆
