Quick question, Can you bring a leaf of a plant on a plane, no soil or anything? Thinking about leaf propagating a plant from my friendâs house in a different state. Thanks!
Iâm new to having a monstera. I managed to grow this over the past year and he got so big and healthy. Only for a mover to have damaged the plant and killed it. However before he was moved I saved part of it and took it on the plane. In dec I tried to propagate it and it got lots of roots. :) I planted it in a pot with the right soil a few weeks ago. Wondering what this is growing out of the pot? Hoping itâs a good sign.
I have several propagated pieces of inch plant (Wandering Jew) that I would like to put together in the same pot. How far apart should I place the pieces so that they have everything they need to grow beautifully? Also, some are longer and some are shorter, should I place the shorter ones around the outside or should they be in the middle?
Morning, I have a problem. I received the beautiful basket of live plants as a Motherâs Day gift. It has soil in it with fake moss on top of it. There is no drainage hole at the bottom and n the basket. Iâve only watered it a couple of times but now all 3 plants are looking a bit sad. The soil is wet, slightly more than damp. My questions areâŠâŠ. Should I take all 3 plants out and repot them separately or just take them out of the basket and put them all in a pot with drainage? Oh the plants are yellow flowering Kalanchoe, African violet and Gerbera Daisyâs. Thanks in advance for any suggestions
This sandbox is on sale and would make a great raised garden bed đ

Hi, I recently bought this huge and beautiful Red Leaf Banana and Iâve noticed water collecting in between the leaves at the base. It happened first after I mist it and another time the day after I watered it. Iâm trying to figure out water needs. Iâm giving it a full watering can every time Planta tells me to but Iâve yet to see water coming out it beside from the leaves themselves. Am I doing anything wrong or is it all just normal for this plant? Thanks for the help!
I would love to hear everybodyâs planty opinions/confessions/facts/lessons/resources/research/etc! I know thatâs a broad subject but I think a group thatâs specifically for this would be fun. I love to nerd out about plants. This picture is from two years ago when I had my first plants! đ«¶

new fig i got about 2-3 days ago, it has been repotted. im very aware of how finicky they are and this ones health seems to be declining? brown edges on leaves. im not sure if its under/overwatered? can someone please help?
This ravenous little pest has completely eaten two catnip bushes before. Iâve kept this one in a hanging pot until it was ready for a 6in pot. So far Brutus canât eat his fill faster than the plant can regenerate leaves!
Which plant is that ?? I bought Pink Princess Philodendron cutting from ETSY last year. And it turned out this in 1 year. If itâs Pink Princess Philodendron than why isnât it pink in color đ€đ§đđ»ââïž
My curiosity poll today⊠Which school of thought are you in: A) When a leaf is dying off, itâs best to cut it off to avoid the plant expending excess energy on that leaf anymore, and also thus avoiding any fungal issues etc etc that might be spread to other leaves. B) When a leaf is dying off, itâs best to leave the leaf on until itâs completely shriveled up, dry and brown, to allow the plant to re-absorb all of the nutrients from that leaf for the rest of the plant to use.
HI YALL! I have this Eureka pink lemon tree indoors, if you have any tips I am all ears. I put him on the table for the picture đ€Ł
