Should I put this guy in water full time for a bit? I’ve been reading up on hydroponic orchid growing and water culture recently… seems like it might be the best course of action. Really determined to get him back to full health!

Came across these on Amazon: YBX 8 Inch + 6 Inch White&Terracotta Flower Pots 🪴

I bought a bag of vermiculite and I’m not sure what plants I should use it on? I believe for my succulents and cactus cuttings I would want to use perlite?

This plant needs attention. Please tell me what I might try. Leaves are not consistently green and purple. Does losing their true color mean she’s not getting enough light? I’m trying to only use filtered water because edges of leaves are brown. Advice welcome. I feel I don’t know how to care for her. She has drainage. Frustrated with the inconsistency of the appearance, but maybe it’s normal.

I’ve had my satin pothos for 2.5 years, these days if I water more than a tiny stream the water will go right through the plant. So I try to water with small streams, but then the leaves always turn yellow, then fall off. Any advice? It used to be so full, and it’s so sparse now. All the green leaves are curled like it’s thirsty, but they turn yellow so quickly so I don’t want to overwater. Thanks!

I think this is thrips in my Monstera soil? When I took the pot off I caught a tiny flat white/yellowish bug running around which I believe to be a thrip but I didn’t manage to take a photo of it. I got a photo of these fluff type things within the soil. Is this where thrips hatch? I have never dealt with pests before. Luckily I have some Neem oil coming tomorrow so I plan to do a spray and soil drench

Anyone else think it’s weird when someone references their plants or your plants as “she”? I guess people just like to believe whatever they want but there’s this thing called science… Almost every popular house plant is monoecious, meaning they have both male and female parts. All your monsteras, anthuriums, alocasia, pothos, aglaonema, syngoniums, dracaena, cacti, most succulents, even most flowers are all hermaphrodites. If you’re calling a plant a “she” you are incorrect almost 100% of the time. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Hi! I bought this plant to try to get it back to good health but it’s a lot harder than I thought to figure out what it is. Any ideas? The app said oregano lol
