Such a lucky dude man, ordered the Thai constellation for pretty cheap on Etsy and the person threw in a golden pothos too!! The packaging was amazing and arrived only 2 days later!! Does anyone know what soil pothos like? Also if you would like the etsy sellers information just ask in the comments!! Much love my planty plant people đ«¶

Was planning on buying a majestic palm tree tomorrow from Loweâs. Any tips & tricks I should know? Iâve been told theyâre a rather harder plant to take care of but Iâm itching for a new plant đ€Ł. How long should I quarantine it before putting it by my other plants? How could I check to make sure thereâs no pests on it while Iâm in the store? Etc. Thanks yâall!! đ Update: I bought a moon cactus instead because all of the majestic palms & the monsteras around them were INFESTED with spider mites to the point that they had actual webs on them đ€Šđ»ââïž. But the picture is my new moon cactus đ„°, sheâs adorbs.

Help pls! Got this plant as a housewarming gift. Iâve tried to research how to take care of it, as I know these can be difficult to care for. Hi guys. I am here again with another query. I bought this Zz plant about a month ago. And today, i was trying to repot it only to find out how much root bound it was. The roots are pretty tight in real and i couldnât even loosen it a-bit. I am afraid if i wrestle down a little, the roots will be disturbed. What would be the best thing to do with such roots in a Zz plant?

I found one of my wishlist plants on FB marketplace this morning for a great price - $10! There were some red flags though. 1) a Calathea this size would usually be $20-$30 (Canadian) on marketplace, 2) Itâs a mature size plant (about 2 feet tall) in a 6 inch pot but only has 3 leaves đ€. So I immediately knew something must be wrong with it and the seller had probably decided to cut her losses and sell it instead of continuing to deal with the problem. I picked it up anyway, and I could see she had previously cut away maybe 10 leaves. It was in a heavy soil with no drainage pot, so I started to repot it once I got it home, and found what was definitely a small cluster of eggs from some insect in there. I threw out all the soil, washed off the roots and sprayed the roots, stems and leaves with my neem oil mixture. Iâm going to repot in my homemade tropical mix. Iâve never had good luck saving plants before. Any thing else I should keep in mind? Really hoping I can save this beauty.

Can anyone help with my calathea? It recently started extremely drooping. I thought this was due to underwatering so I let it drink by placing it in a bowl of water. I also watered over the top because the soil felt really dry. It isnât drinking any more water so Iâm not sure what the problem is. One more thing to note is that our windows have been closed lately due to excessive heat in our area so it hasnât gotten much light. Any suggestions?
