My peacock plant is struggling:( The Doc said itâs overwatered but other sources say itâs under watered. Any ideas? My friend got me this plant and it means a lot to me, I really wanna heal it! Iâve been using a grow light for all my plants since thereâs not as much light in my room atm. Itâs working great for all my other plants so heâs the only one struggling.
Any suggestions what to do with this âDumb Caneâ? I feel I should cut it & start individual plants but, my family wants it to keep growing. Whatâs the best choice for the plant? Thank you!!
Does anyone have recommendations on how to protect outdoor container plants from the cold? I donât want my babies to die. It doesnât snow here, but it does get below freezing occasionally.

I moved my Z plant this morning and found this. Is this something to be worried about?
great way to start the morning đ
Good afternoon planty friends! So a friend gave me a large begonia cutting, and itâs started to root. My question is should I cut the bottom chunk off even though it has roots? My only concern is that when I move it to a pot eventually (of course when itâs ready) , will that big of a stalk get root rot?
Hi, I rescued this plant and brought it back to life but recently juts started showing yellowing leaves (have removed three). I live in a flat with old sash windows so it can get chilly. Iâve moved it away from the window. Coudl it be that? Definitely not overwatering. I onyl ever bottom water this plant. It could it be the soil needs some fertiliser/nutrients? Help as I love this Peace Lily
My fiddle leaf fig has been doing great until recently. A few weeks ago the bottom leaf turned yellow, then eventually died and fell off. Now the next bottom leaf is doing the same thing. Is there something wrong with the plant? I donât see any signs of pests, and I donât believe I am overwatering (Iâve had the plant for over two years since it was only a few inches tall and never overwatered). Is this a natural process of the plant? Possibly because itâs winter and not getting as much sun? Plant has been in same exact location for two years.
iâve been searching for a black velvet alocasia for a long time now⊠i ended up finding one at trader joeâs for $8! heâs in quarantine right now and i canât wait to bring him into my plant room âïž
So I bought this mint monstera adansonii, but recently it has been putting out large, mutated leaves that look nothing like my other adansoniis. Is it really an adansonii? Why are the leaves getting so large and mutated while the plant is so little? They arenât identical on each half of the leaf, on the most recent few one side is much larger and the other side is narrow or even absent (2nd photo). I also included a picture of it next to my other adansonii for reference. Thanks!!
