Hello Plant Family! I’ve noticed the soil to my indoor plants (since bringing them to their new home) have been fairly wet - not soggy… since purchase day. I don’t see any signs of rotting but would like to prevent it from happening. They are my new Monstera deliciosa plants. I know they need bright indirect lightening but I don’t think it’s enough whereas the soil seems wet still. Will they be fine or is there something I should do ? Sincerely, - A Happy New Plant Mom. 🪴

I would like a second opinion on what these two ficus elasticas are, I thought the one on the right was my “ruby” but I bought the one on the left the other day and it also said ruby.

Why are my syngoniums putting out crispy leaves? I chopped these plants a few weeks ago and 3/6 came back great but these three aren’t doing well. I water them when they are about half to three quarters dried out. They get good indirect sunlight.

Does anyone recognize this plant? My mother received this from a friend who passed away and it was dying, mom asked me to try and resurrect it. I have had it a couple of weeks and although it is getting healthier I have yet to identify it.

This is my 5 year old white birds of paradise! I brought it during my second year of university from IKEA and for some reason or another we’ve been getting along ever since. It looks a bit beaten up because it’s moved house a fair few times but to be honest I’m completely clueless to whether or not it’s happy and healthy. The long leaf stem has been growing for around a year and has finally started to unravel. There’s a shorter one at the back which I believe will grow even taller. It’s around 2.6 meters tall, lives in my living room next to moderately lit window. I repotted it for the first time a couple months ago and I can already see the benefits from doing so. If anyone has any tips or suggestions on how to maintain it or how to keep it healthy that would be greatly appreciated. Also I’d just like to know if it’s happy or not. Thank you! :)

I gave Beaker a small trim today. He is due for a repot. We have had him for at least 3 years😱🤦♀️with no repot. I’d love to see how big I can get him!! My husband is concerned 😂🤣

RIGHT. I really wanna split her cus she’s getting abit crowded but I’m so scared of messing up and shocking her to no return! She’s doing so well. 3 new leaves out and a petiole coming in already! Is it too soon to split with the new leaves? last one literally came out today. being gentle is as much as I know what to do 😂 Help!? 🪴

After 4 weeks of mealy bugs and using alcohol and q-tips, I finally got some insecticidal soap. Gave her a bath and spray last night. I hope this puts an end to these pests. She has still had new growth. She is still healthy. Just hate quarantining her.

My poor Dotty Parton has been through hell the past couple of months. I had her too close to the grow light, and she got a ton of leaf burn. She was also in desperate need of a prune and repot. Dolly’s passing today was the “cup of ambition” I needed to get Dotty cleaned up, repotted, and on the road to recovery. Soon, she’ll be back to being as beautiful as the legend she’s named after. May Dolly rest in peace. ❤️🦋
