Quick question about Planta. Sometimes I’ll water and then a day or two later the same plant pops up saying it needs liquid fertilizer. Do you generally just wait until the next time it needs water and then also give it the fertilizer then?
Has anyone else been having a bad summer, plant-wise? I’ve had ten plants just give up the ghost for no discernible reason in the past month or so, and for seemingly different reasons. The rooms that my plants are in are mostly not air conditioned — could it be the heat? Humidity? Changes in weather? Bad vibes? A wizard’s curse?
Chop and Prop of my White Knight (Philodendron)! He was growing so tall! I know It will take weeks to root, but I’ve already checked 3582941 times 🤣
I didn’t know where to post this but can someone remind me (I know I saw it somewhere) when you have duplicates of the same plant how you are managing when you combine them into one pot? Trying to clean up my app and list of plants and I know someone asked this previously but now I can’t find it.
I was gifted over 100 plants a little late in the evening and it is now almost 3am and I have propagated many. Replanted many and they’ve been sitting under my grow lights for 6 hours now (still going). I’m one happy lady! The man was moving. There were about 6 Thai Constellations in the bunch! And some little cuties in the pics. I think it’s bedtime before I start with the rest tomorrow!
Is it okay to use coffee grounds in the potting soil for house plants or should I avoid?
Please give me suggestions on plants that could hang off the top of my bookshelf that require little light. Bookshelf pic for reference

How do you calculate lighting? I tried using the app but it doesn’t seem to consider the varying length of day where I live. I tried an online calculator and it seems I’m missing something. My plants all live within 1 foot of the window. I also have a smaller area on a south facing window which I can use for my plants. In the winter I’ll have to supplement but trying to figure out what plants to put where to start. I just got a bunch of new plants so some need to move.
How the collection has been looking… Until I found spider mites 🥲

Visited my mom and found this polka dot plant in her kitchen in a pot with no drainage sitting in in soggy soil :( it was very very leggy begging for light. I took it home to try and rescue it. It’s got a good root system! I repotted her in some fresh soil and gave her a big cut. Any hope for her? Any tips appreciated:)
This is Nova, she is a sweet little baby that was gifted to me. I know she doesn’t look very big, but this girl is a trooper! She has gone through moving offices, adjusting to a new climate, almost dying, and now she has new growth! Love her. 🩷
Repotted my ogre succulent and added some string of pearls :) so happy how it turned out ❤️
