Hi! So I got one of those “eco cups” systems as a gift and you’re supposed to be able to grow an orchid tree. I followed the instructions and after about 4 weeks I am seeing this. I can’t find any pictures online of what it SHOULD look like
to me this looks like something else has taken over (mould, fungus?) but I wanted to be sure! Any help appreciated! (The other seed - bottom - is definitely mouldy.)

So I know that bromeliad will only flower once and getting new blooms will require them to give out new offshoots. Mine started growing what might be an offshoot, but by the time I noticed it, it was already almost as big as the original bundle of leaves, rather than ever looking like a separate chick. Does this qualify as a baby?

People have been sharing posts of their hoard, so here is mine! Some of them could be happier, but they’re all alive and most are thriving!

Can somebody help me how to contact support for tech questions, not about plant health? I took wrong ssl measurements of my lighting in some areas and don't know how to change it.

My Claudius is so leggy. It constantly grows these big leaves on long stems and they quickly topple over and die. I’ve had it under a couple different grow lights to ensure it gets enough light but it keeps happening. I’m now trying to give it natural light near a south facing window. Any ideas what’s been going on? It’s been months like this ever since I got it

Anyone have any tips for preparing indoor plants for the colder months, specifically ones that usually reside in windowsills? I live in PA so I just wanna make sure I’m properly prepping everyone before it’s actually chilly around here đŸ„¶

Hi everyone, I’m very much a beginner when it comes to owning plants. I have a Japanese Aralia. It’s not grown at all since buying it at the beginning of June. It’s also produced a yellow leaf and has some cracks in some of the leaves too. I’ve attached pics of all of this and the roots. Does it need repotting? Or is this normal? Any help is much appreciated:)

Hello there, I am in the process of trying to figure out how to help my pepperomia. I am a newbie, and have purchased a few “easy” plants for my north-facing balcony and am trying not to kill anything. This plant looked great for a while and last week I noticed a few leaves were looking yellow-ish and some leaves crusty and dry at the tips. After some online investigation it appears it might be overwatered and possibly needing more light so I placed it in a corner of my balcony with brighter light but it has continued to decline. Today I purchased a terracotta pot and re-potted it but the roots and soil felt healthy and dry, not what I expected from an over-watered plant. The shriveled, rotting leaves that I pulled off however were gooey at the base of their stems. I have also purchased a grow light I am waiting to be delivered to aid some plants that might need a little extra. Am I on the right track?
