Does anyone use Rosy Soil? Is it worth the investment? Or am I getting sucked in from the marketing. đ€Ș
Iâm willing to spend a little on good soil as itâs the foundation of healthy plants, inside and outside plants.
If you have a recommendation for soil, do share!

I know this is not technically a plant, but these eggs are on my purple passion plant. I downloaded an app that says these are butterfly eggs but Iâm not so sure. Can anyone help identify what bug these eggs are from?

I got this stunning pin striped calathea today. When I got her home I noticed some white-brown markings on a few of the leaves.
Do they look like any type of pest created them, or is it just typical calathea fussiness? I have moved her away from my other plants (after I took the picture) until Iâm sure.

What should I do to help this plant?

I recently got this fern and Iâm new to the plant world. Does anyone know what she needs? Her soil is moist, I have humidifier in the house and she gets plenty of natural (not direct) sunlight.

First staghorn fern! How did I do? Any advice on how to water them once mounded? I rigged up this setup with a plant frame and L hook so I can easy take it off for watering and keep moisture away from the wall. She has a bit of her soil, spagnum moss, and some sheet moss to keep everything together. The moisture split the bottom of the wood but I kind of like it that way đ đż

I was just gifted this white knight. What should i do with the long stem, i feel like i should cut it but it feels so wrong because she has two pretty leafs on the top and sheâs growing a few new leaves at the base. TIA!

Whatâs going on with my panda plant? I only watered it once every two weeks but itâs growing weird roots outside of its soil. Itâs facing south of my window, decent indirect light exposure.

Today was the day I moved my rescue Split leaf from water (where it's been for last 2 months) to Aroid (coco coir, coco chips, bark, perlite, worm castings, horticultural charcoal, stratum, systemic granules, Mycorrhizal fungi and a layer of LECA on bottom & top) soil.
I'm so emotionally attached to this plant I'm really nervous about this transition.
According to the interwebs for the next few weeks I should keep soil damp to minimize the shock.
Any other tips?

I think my calathea have surpassed my peperomias to become my favorite plants. The leaves are so pretty. What type of plant is your favorite?

Iâm looking to repot my Monstera Constellation, does anyone have a good mix recipe for it? Im also wondering, I suspect she has Thripes, I sprayed her down and sheâs under a grow light now away from other plants. Can anyone confirm my suspicions? Leaves keep browning and this new leaf still hasnât unfurled and itâs been months.

Hi all â€ïž
I just got my first Alocasia Frydek Variegated (itâs so difficult to find it in Ireland but I was look for paying âŹ10 in this cut) and I'm so excited! It has been growing in a mix of Fluval stratum and perlite, and so far it seems happy â but Iâve noticed some green moss or algae starting to grow on the substrate. Is that normal or should I be worried?
Also wondering:
đ§ Whenâs a good time to check the roots in this mix? I want to make sure itâs healthy but donât want to stress the plant.
Any tips or advice from folks whoâve grown this beauty in semi-hydro or Fluval setups would be amazing! đđŒ
Thanks in advance đ

Anyone else constantly check their plants drainage holes for roots trying to poke out so you can pop them back in before theyâre too long? I know my plants arenât root bound because most of them have clear pots, yet I still catch the roots sticking out the bottom đ€Ł stay in your pot!!

Our poor rubber plant is continuing to decline and I don't know what to do! She was over watered a few months back, but we repotted her and have been making sure she gets plenty of light and dries out between watering, but the leaves continue to brown and shrivel. Is the stem supposed to turn brown like this? Should I consider just cutting the healthy part off the top and trying to propogate it?
