I got this little greenhouse from ikea & weather stripped the bottom and put in some grow lights. It still has gaps where the front opens so I’m trying to think of plants to put in it that don’t need high humidity but they still like humidity and don’t grow as fast so they can stay in there longer. If you have any suggestions let me know!

Hello,
I’m in need of some help. I recently started to get into having plants and I’m very dedicated to keeping them alive. I bought a zebra plant last weekend and it’s been going well. I took some photos of it last night and the leaves looked great. However, I just got home from work and went to water it and the leaves are VERY droopy. I need help on how to fix it or what is causing it. The first pic below is of my plant yesterday and the second one is what it currently looks like. SOS

I noticed this funny little group of 5 leaves coming out of a flower stem on my string of turtles plant. Does anyone know what it is or if that’s normal?

Does anyone know what variety of Jade this is? It’s got small white hairs (especially on the underside) giving it a silver shine. Thank you :-)

I have no idea what is happening to this Birkin. Sat on the top shelf corner and has been thriving since I had gotten her 3 months ago. East/South facing window, watering every 5ish days. She was about to get a drink when I seen this.
Any ideas and tips?

Hello,
My Philodendron Birkin is growing out small all white leaves which do not turn green. She has been a bit overwatered, leading to wilting, and eventual rotting and falling of leaves. She sits in a south facing window. Besides fixing the watering issue, any other recommendations to get bigger leaves? Should I move her?
Thanks!!

Hey there!! I got these from my friends succulents while I was visiting. 🤫 but dont worry, she let me. Will these propagate? If I put them in water will they grow roots?

Hi. I have this jade plant cutting (about an inch tall). If I wanted to propagate this, how should I go about it? I was thinking about letting it callous for a few days and then plopping it in perlite. Thoughts?

This syngonium is being weird. It’s getting these like wet dark spots on the leaves.
This plant lives in water. So would that mean the humidity is too high? Will these leaves be damaged now?

‘Stella’ my Strelitzia was looking poorly and after checking the roots I found she was over watered and rotting. I’ve cut away the rotten roots and repotted into two separate pots with good drainage. So I now have ‘Stella’ and ‘Stavros’ - Any recommendations to keep them both healthy, happy and alive welcome! 🪴💚

hi everyone! so i’m a bit confused on planting fruiting plants in pots. when i first bought my habanero pepper plant, the info on it said to plant the pepper in a deep container but now i’m worried the pot is too big for it, im struggling with another plant dying to this reason and don’t want my pepper plant to start suffering. it hasn’t shown any sign of distress, seems fairly happy despite not getting much sunlight due to the storms in my area…

Throughout one week I got a raised plant bed, 2 small tomato plants, a pear tree, a fig tree, a blueberry bush, soil for the bed, and more soil in general. Any tips for a raised bed or any of those plants/trees/bush?

so happy with how my ikea greenhouse cabinet has turned out. lots of weatherstripping required, but it stays between about 60-70% relative humidity and around 70°. now i don't feel so bad about bringing home new alocasias 😂

Does anybody here use moss poles for their plants to root into? If so, how do you input it into Planta? I have multiple plants growing up moss poles, and rooting into them. I’ve input them the same way I would any other plant, but was curious if anyone out there has input/suggestions? Thanks!

Suddenly I’m able to keep plants alive and I’m just so amazed at the growth of this in one short month. I bought pothos, jade, Chinese evergreen, aloe, and snake plants. They are all thriving.

Is fertilizer even up for discussion this soon or what’s the cadence for that? Also i sprayed with water mister today: should i also pour water into the pot?
