So I had to have minor surgery in Juneand I was given a bouquet of flowers with this branch in it. Everything died except the branch so I put it in a smaller vase and left it. About 2 weeks ago I noticed little bumps on the leaves and thought they looked like they could be flowers popping out but today I saw they are new leaves. Does anyone know what it is and can I cut off the leaves and plants them? Will they root. I'm very excited to see what happens. Thanks for any help

Hi friends! My zebra plant is still blooming đ with a few new buds coming up. How do I trim these spent flowers? Thanks.
Can anyone tell me what type of alocasia this is? I think either a Jacklyn or what this app told me an elephant ear but i donât know. I just got into plants so im still learning.
Thoughts about using Mycorizzal Fungi to help previously root rotted plants spring back. The only concern I have is that a whole lot of sites say that you canât use Miracle-Gro due to it having a high salt content. I would buy some organic fertilizer and use that, but all the garden centers are sold out. My question is would it be ok to use Mycorizzal Fungi even if I have to add more every time I fertilize? Itâs currently winter now so fertilizing doesnât happen too often.
This is newer nerve plant, and I have noticed that there have been blooms as in the picture but every time they fall before they fully open and I am wondering if this is normal or I am doing something wrong. Helpful tips are very much appreciated!!!

In your experience, are there any plant types that should never be pruned or propagated in winter? Iâm still in my first year as a serious plant parent and trying to tamp down my excitement to DO DO DO. Iâve been diligent about checking leaves and stems, pretty sure thereâs been no significant leaf drop, and carefully tried to water less than Iâm tempted to. Any advice for the resting season?
Look at how happy and healthy my alocasia is (: I have her in between the sliding glass door and a grow light and she seems to be thriving! The only problem are the fungus gnats. they wonât leave her alone. i sprayed with need oil, added sticky traps, and sprinkled systemic granules on the soil. it seems to help but they are pretty persistent. happy growing!
Hey y'all! My alocascia has dropped two leaves since I last watered it a week ago :( the stem seems so have gotten mushy and just completely given way for some reason. Any suggestions on how to protect the last three remaining leaves?
I just bought this moonshine snake plant and I just noticed some brown spots on the leaves does anyone know what they are and how to fix it plus the soil is really wet
I am just starting out looking after plants, so this is going to be a very very basic questionâŠâŠ When it tells you to water your plant, (1) do I water from the top or fill the saucer and (2) how do I know what is âenoughâ water? Thanks!
Can someone tell me what this plant is called please?
Hey guys this is my plant set up! I live in Olympia, Washington where it rains most of the winter months. Iâm curious, those of you who live in humid climates, do you still buy a humidifier? Iâm curious if I should invest in one? TIA

hi friends, i got this lovely jade plant from my grandma last year and she was doing SO well for awhile. i recently moved to arizona and made the mistake of putting her in direct sunlight, causing her to drop all of her leaves except the ones shown. this was about three months ago and ive since put her back in indirect light, but there has been zero growth since then. is there anything i should do?? or is this a waiting game? the one leaf she does have is very thin, which is much different from the ones she used to have which were more firm. for reference she is now about 2ft from a south facing window that gets bright, indirect light for most of the day. thanks in advance!! i really love this plant and wanna see her grow, so all tips are appreciated.
Grow light recs? I recently brought in two plants from home (1 pothos, 1 succulent) to my office which gets zero natural light, so I know it's time to invest in a grow light. I am only in the office 3 days per week, so ideally the light would have a built-in timer, but I guess I could get a separate timer plug if needed. Bonus points if it's a brand I can find off Amazon!
Hellooo! I recently bought grow lights but the only option on it is warm, LED, and combination. It also has a dimmer if needed. My babies consist of many pothos, a money tree, an aloe, and a snake plant. Which setting would be best for them? (I also live in a basement so they have no natural light)
