Good morning/afternoon everyone! Question, I have two corn plants as you can see one has quite a bare trunk and the other is bushier. Can I plant them in the same pot? If I do, can I plant the one that has a bare trunk further down into the soil? Will it root from the trunk or will it kill it? Thank you in advance for any comments.

Thoughts on why my plant isn’t growing? No new leaves or anything since I got her months ago
Hey was just looking for some tips for taking care of of orchids because I’m thinking about getting one soon, any tips?
I keep finding grasshoppers on all of my plants outside, and there are always holes eaten through the leafs. Are the holes from the grasshoppers or some other bug?
Hi, I've been propogating this plant and I've had it in water for a while now and it's grown so many roots. I really love this plant and don't want to risk anything. Do I just set it in soil now? I have perlite and coconut choir, do I add that too? Do I leave the soil slightly moist or do I actually water it and keep the soil wet since it's used to water and has water roots? Any help or advice please! Thank you in advance.
Okay, I’ve posted about my lavender plant here and was affirmed I was doing everything right so it’s possible I just need the plant validation haha…. But I did deadhead the lavender plant and left a few flowers that seemed newer. I cut where the leaves meet the stick and now the leaves that were green are paling or greying and I’m not sure if that’s normal. Did I kill this guy?
Sooo, I propagated some of my prayer plant and gave it to a friend. She has had it for a few months but then all of a sudden it has gotten sad. Does anyone have any ideas? the soil is drained well. I gave it some plant food when she brought it back to me as well. Can i still save this plant?
Hey y'all! I have a massive split leaf philodendron and I don't know what to do with it anymore. It's got aerial roots escaping from the pot and has been leaning to the side. Repotting isn't really possible since it's already so big and can barley be moved as it is. Should I cut some of the longer aerial roots? Stake it up with a tree branch? I'm also considering cutting some of the more browned leaves but I don't want her to be too bare and stem-y. And tips on helping her out and looking a bit nicer are appreciated.
Hi! *I’ll post this both here and in the Hydroponics group for spread * I have thus begonia black forest that I am thinking of moving to leca. What does that process look like taking something from soil in semi hydro? Any help or direction to resources would be great, thank you 😊
Question… I’ve looked stuff up a bit but still not sure; can a high humidity plant survive in a bathroom without light all of the time? Would having the bathroom light on help if it’s not a grow light or should the plant be taken out sometimes for natural light? Or should it just stay in the natural light?
Hello! I recently got a string of turtles and I'm unsure what the best media is. I've seen some people recommend potting mix + perlite, and other people recommend succulent/cactus potting mix (with or without added perlite). I've also seen people call this a succulent and other people say it's not a succulent? I know everyone has their preferences but just wanted to see what you all are using for these and what your experience is. Also if anyone could maybe help explain why some people call them succulents and some don't, I'd love to get a better understanding of that too 😅 Pic of my turtles for fun 🙂
I’ve had this Hoya linearis for around two years, repotted terracotta a year ago, she almost died, but now she’s all healed 🤍 I’ll post a pic in the comments of when I first got her 🥲
Does anyone know why philodendrons are so expensive? I’m on the hunt for “the one” for my plant collection, but all I’ve come across are like $35+ for a little one?
I’ve a money plant that is thriving and throwing off lots of baby plants. Should I separate or just put in a bigger pot and keep them all together?
Man that moment when you pass by one of your plant babies and see they are thriving and unfurling new foliage.. COME ON RUBY!!! Do your big one😍😍😍😂😂😂
Sooooo I happen to live in a basement where I get good light for the plants I have! However, as the months get colder I don’t get as much sun down here! What grow lights work best? I have an extra terrarium grow light will that work the same? Do plants need different light bulbs? Sorry for the little rant! I want them to live through the Utah winter!! (Some of my babies included)
Anybody know what this is and if i should do anything about it? Also theres fuzzy white stuff too 💔😭 My plant is basically in perfect health except for brown tips (its prob root bound), so i dont know if i should be concerned. Let me know!
