I am having problems with white flies in one room in my home. Never had them before. I have sprayed the plants in that room with Safer's end all and Safer's insecticide soap. But the buggers keep showing up on other plants. Does anyone have suggestions before they spread to my other rooms? I have 125 plants altogether and I don't want to lose any more.
I have no clue what type of plant this is!! Help!! I grew it from a seed that was gifted to me. It’s been a year now. I have no photo of the seed but it was kinda woody almost egg shaped. My best guess is a ponytail palm? This app & AI has told me it is a spider plant but spider plant seeds are smaller than what I was given. Maybe my memory is wrong. I just saved her leafy butt from a spider mite infestation and I don’t want to disturb her pot to check for a caudex atm. The mystery haunts every waking moment.
I know a lot of people don’t like calatheas, begonias, or alocasias but I don’t have a toxic relationship with any of them.

My BOP Velma has some small lower leafs that are quite torn and in kinda rough shape. I’ve been wondering if I should remove them?

So upset....one of the cats decided they needed an overnight snack...knocked it off the shelf and I found it on the floor with scattered dirt. This is the last piece of a very important plant! I hope it can rebound.
I got this Monstera in April of 2025 starting the new year of 2026 by framing one of the windows in my kitchen! She stands higher than the ceiling and I have such an attachment to her 🥹. She may not look perfect but she’s healthy, thriving, and pushing new leaves weekly!
Picked up this beautiful Philodendron today. It’s just labelled as a Philo and Planta is struggling to ID it. Any ideas?
Second post for me on this white bird of paradise, but I’m determined to save him. Water was running right through the soil in November, so fearing it was hydrophobic I submerged him for a bit. Now the water doesn’t run through but it appears to be failing. I water every 17 days during winter. Fertilize every 3 waterings. It’s in a 10” pot with drainage onto clay pebbles. Should I try repotting…has never been done. Should I separate the plants? Thanks in advance!
Hi guys! Posting this for my friend not on planta. This is her peace lily that she was gifted after a family members passing. It was looking pretty wilted and sad when I went over to her house the other day and I thought it looked pretty crowded so I told her she might try repotting it and separating the plants. She did that so are there any other suggestions you all have for what could be going on? There’s still lots of green on the main plant so I think she’s savable. She hasn’t repotted the plant since she got it and said she waits until she starts looking sad to water it.

Hi everyone! I received a huge fern from one of my co workers. Sadly, it has been losing a lot of leaves since I brought it home. Am I underwatering? Is it getting enough sunlight? I’ve also noticed it growing new leaves so I’m kind of confused lol. Please help!
Well I did it again. I took a bunch of starts to a plant swap to give away and I said I'm not coming home with more then 1 or 2. Lol hahaha that didn't work. Now I have to get another plant shelf and lights. But aren't they beautiful. I have them in my dining room to keep them away from mine for right now but they all look so good and healthy. This was the best plant swap I have been to by far.
I’m looking for some kind of statement plant that will grow large like the one circled in the photo. I want something that will grow outwards, rather than upwards, and take up space (no snake plants, etc). I want to place it on top of a credenza I have (see other photo). However, it’s a lower light spot. Any suggestions? Thank you!
