Hello! I’m on my first indoor plant journey and would definitely appreciate any tips for my new babies. I’ve only had for 4 days and have only watered them once when they arrived to their new home. Noticing some browning in my “Figgy” and little black spots. My other two I’ve noticed a little yellowing on its foliage but not too much. Any information or knowledge anyone would like to share to help maintain these beauties ? I appreciate your time! Thank you 🪴✨

Hello! I just moved into a new home with a bunch of plants in the front and back. I have never took care of plants in my life, but would like to make them grow and keep up with them. I came into the house with them looking rough already, so looking to bring them back to life. I attached the pictures of the ones in the front yard. Any advice helps! Thanks!
I'm moving in October with 230+ plants!! 🤦🏼 I actually have to rent a U-Haul trailer!! 🤦🏼🤦🏼 Soooo I made a strict rule for myself ""NO MORE PLANTS!". Well, here's the newest three. 🤦🏼 lol
I'm confused about something that happens in Planta. I have my plants set as being fertilized with watering but Planta will sometimes direct me to fertilize on one day then water the next even though it was just watered. Is there a way to fix this?
Help! My Ring of Fire philo’s older leaves have been turning yellow at the very tip. He’s currently growing two new leaves. Watered whenever Planta says (with checks to the soil to make sure it’s not wet), in regular potting soil, low humidity (Arizona). His soil currently is decently dry, and has some cracks in it. Could this just straight-up be the issue or is there anything deeper? Any help is appreciated, I really don’t want him to die!
I bought a croton from Lowe’s about 3 weeks ago and I just noticed roots are coming out from below. Should I repot?
Need Advice on Nerve Plant Hi everyone! I got this Red Anne Fittonia Nerve Plant probably 5ish months ago. It was growing quickly with big leaves. However the leaves keep getting crispy and wrinkly no matter what I try. I have moved it away from vents, put a humidifier next to it, its own grow light, repotted it, then last week I finally changed the soil mix to a chunkier soil that would dry out faster because the last mix stayed wet far too long which I thought must’ve been suffocating the roots and preventing leaves from getting water. Even with dryer soil mix and more humidity leaves continue to get crispier. I’m not sure if my new mix is still not drying fast enough or if it needs more time for plant to adjust from shock of new soil. How can I finally resolve this issue and help this plant have softer vibrant leaves? Thank you!
Does anyone have any knowledge on hibiscus plants? I have six. My first year with them. This one is my biggest flower so far. I live in Indiana so I know I have to bring them in for the winter. However, I’ve been told I can bring them in and let them hibernate the winter and bring them back out when the frost has passed for the season and they will come back. Does anyone know if this is true or not? Any help is appreciated. I have only $60 in them. But, I’d like to keep them alive, I got them to add to my flower beds which also is my turtles outdoor enclosure.
So I’ve had this beautiful baby for a few years now and she seems to be having issues. Can anyone help or explain what’s going on with it? Any help is very much appreciated.
Recently purchased this beautiful Vanda Orchid. Unfortunately I am not very good at keep orchids despite reading lots about caring for them. Since bringing this home, it has already lost a new shoot that was growing and I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I water this by placing roots in water for 20 mins to half an hour twice weekly and then once a month add orchid fertiliser.
My sundew is flowering!!! I knew my ping would, but this was such a surprise! They have both male and female flowers and can sometimes self-pollinate, so I might even get viable seeds!!
2 more Hoyas brought in. I’m not sure about the location, but for now this will work.
Hello! I'm looking for recommendations for some outdoor overwintering plants. A friend has given me a whole bunch of tulip bulbs and I want to try one of those layered planters and am thinking of some sort of winter cover crop both to insulate and avoid excessive compaction, as well as visual interest. Some about our garden: -We're in Zone 7b in Northern VA -We do just about everything plant type wise (herbs, flowering, foliage, succulents, and a brief foray into hot peppers). Most of our plants come indoors in the winter so we'd be looking for something that could stay outside. -Currently, our only genuine winter plant is a Penny's Pink hellebores. Thank you!
