Hello! I’m on my first indoor plant journey and would definitely appreciate any tips for my new babies. I’ve only had for 4 days and have only watered them once when they arrived to their new home. Noticing some browning in my “Figgy” and little black spots. My other two I’ve noticed a little yellowing on its foliage but not too much. Any information or knowledge anyone would like to share to help maintain these beauties ? I appreciate your time! Thank you 🪴✨
With your "figgy" the brown spots are often endema, where it has more water than the leaves can transpire and the cells burst. I would monitor its watering, make sure it isn't over watered. If the other spots get worse, check the roots, if brown/mushy, they have rot, so you'll need to trim them off.

It's better to under water than over water. And by over water I mean to leave them sitting in water. Depending on the plant, you only want to drench them once the top 2 inches are dry. Some like constant damp soil and hate any bit of drying, check each plant's care tips in the app. Now, all plants will suffer new home shock because the environment you bought them in, is different than your house. Give then time to adapt to their new home.
