This plant was doing great but wasn't in a pot with drainage so I repotted it in a better pot with drainage about 2 weeks ago and now it looks like this. Is it stressed or is something else going on? It's about a foot from a window and a grow light for 12 a day and a humidifier so I'm not sure what's going on. Thanks for any help
One of my plants are growing inside another
I have a fiddle leaf fig that recently dropped all of it leaves and was just a stem. Now it has leaves growing from just the top. What can I do to get leaves to grow on the entire stem and not just the top?
Recently picked up this African Violet for my dad’s desk at work. His dad used to always have African Violets in their home when he was a kid, and we always think of him around Valentine’s Day, so I thought it’d be a nice way of keeping his memory around for my dad. I’m new to African Violets and would love any tips anyone with experience with these can share, especially in terms of if I need to get a soil mix specifically for African Violets to repot it with, or if I can manage with a cactus or all-purpose mix. TIA!
Hey Plant Lovers! Who has a Zebra plant and knows their care, tips, tricks, and magic sprinkle dust! Just got mine…
Hey plant people! Does anyone know a good online plant shop that doesn’t break the budget? I’d love to get a "stephania erecta" but I have no plant shops near me, anywhere you can tell me would be incredibly appreciated thank you all!
Anybody know when you water your living rock plant? I haven’t done my research on them yet, but I have heard only like 3 times a year???? Sounds kinda crazy to me lol but taking any responses of people who may know! 😊🪴
Do any of you use worm castings in your soil. I was given a bag and wanted a little more information. Thanks
Hi everyone, This is one of my newest plants, Whitney! As you can see in the photo, she’s got some dry spots, and in regards to dissecting with the problem is, it was known for partially needs more lighting (so i moved her to the brightest spot in the office, as well as as it mentioned drainage— My question to you all is do I have to have a pot that actually has a drain hole on the bottom or can I put a layer of rocks on the bottom to create a drain before potting Whitney? Is that even a thing!? Thanks in advance! She’s too pretty to die!!!! I must act fast lol
I’ve had a few plant deaths lately so currently trying to focus on the ones currently thriving (: this was one of the few i transferred to a self watering pot successfully…a cute lil pilea!
Help! I’m not sure what’s happening to my Dracaena. This issue started recently and has been affecting more leaves over time. I’m careful with watering, so I don’t think it’s overwatered. However, when I bought it about a month ago, it had been neglected. The leaves are twisting, which could be related to lighting (I use a light meter to ensure it’s getting adequate light). I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong—any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Planta is suggesting that I water my mini purple every day in February. Is this normal?
What fertilizer do you recommend when water propagating?
Gm! Does one use blooming fertilizer year round? If Planta shows both fertilizer for green plants and blooming fertilizer?

When you have been caring for a sick plant for months…and then you finally spot this little shoot!
Hi everyone, this plant dropped over the pot and I want it to grow upwards is this okay for the plant?
I’m thinking about moving my plants from the window to the other side of my desk (left site to right). The window gets great natural light when it is sunny, but it’s winter, and it’s a bit drafty, like the pots and leaves feel cold. Which would be better, drafty with more natural light or minimal direct sun but warmer (the grow light would move with them).
This is baby Frydek, and I have some concern about him. The first picture of is of him now; my concern is that his lower leaves are drooping. The second picture is of him around the beginning of January, and he’s much more erect, than now. I know he’s not overwatered, and he’s in part sun/part shade for light. So, what’s his problem? Is he growing so fast he can’t keep his stems up straight? Any ideas? TIA!
