Hi, I think my plants are needing more light. I have a few here in the picture as well as I’m wanting to get a pothos for my bathroom that has no windows and am looking for grow lights specifically bulbs since I have lamps and other lights fixtures I want to put them in. Any recommendations I’ve found these on amazon.

***note....I may be very needy today!! Is this rot? The plant (Aglaonema King of Siam, I think) is doing ok....pushing out leaves....it is very tall and cane-y, but afraid to chop!!! I just rinsed her off from some dust, so pardon the water. I don't normally do this but I was watering it already.
Fighting mealy bugs 😢 She is still pushing out new leaves 😻
Myth-busting Monday! What is a myth you believed when you first became a plant parent? From Tove, Planta Co-Founder, “If you remember to water - your plant will live forever (no matter if you place it in the darkest corner of your home and the plant thrives in full sun). Note! This was BEFORE and BECAUSE Planta came to life ” I feel bad to what happened to her plant, but I’m glad it did! 🙌🏻🌿💚
Winter has been rough on my plants. This was our first year in this house and I discovered: 🌡Kitchen is too cold for most of them ☀️The natural light stinks ⚡️Damage can sneak up or just hit you in the face Feeling a bit down about the current state of my collection. Any one else struggling?
I moved recently and instantly fell in love with the WIDE WINDOWSILLS (my plant addiction is going to grow exponentially lol). My plants survived the move very well considering how cold it was, and they are thriving with lots of natural light.
Since my mother in law took my other one 😒 But I really think the airplant is a better alternative to the string of hearts. What do you think?
Hello all! I just came into the possession of a Zebrina Purple tradescantia from one of my parents and I was wondering if it would be safe to pot her with my Purple Puma tradescantia? I've heard that some people can safely make "franken-plants" with their different pothos variegations and whatnot and thought I'd ask if I could do the same with my tradescantias! Any thoughts or suggestions?
Honestly! 👀😂
Should I cut these two leaves off? For a while (especially after December cause I was away from home for a month) the older leaves on my Thai constellation keep developing these small brown spots and when I wipe them off they leave brown patches and then the smaller spots eventually come back
Anybody else? All of the sudden I had way more Planta chores than usual today. Many of them are to fertilize today, when the history shows they’ve all been watered in the last couple of days, and care says they are way further out to be due for water. I’m set to fertilize with water and the schedule has never done this to me before.
I might cry! I have done 5 moves with this girl! I’ve had her since 2021. She’s my favorite and prize possession. This move was the first time she didn’t fit in my car so she had to ride in the moving van. Well it was 9° and no getting around it. I’m terrified I’m going to completely loose her cuz ever leafs looks like this now. I’m going to give her a few weeks to adjust but I’m thinking all her leaves will eventually turn yellow from the shock. I watered her good 7 days prior to this move. She’s now settled in a good spot with good light and a home house again. If you were me what would you do?
Show me your dog tail, cactus and how you style it. I’m having a hard time getting a great photo for you to get the full effect, but this one just doesn’t seem to be living its best life. If you zoom in it has tons of aerial roots. When I looked online, none of the more mature ones have these aerial roots, but everything says they are normal and that in nature they actually climb around trees. Should I try to change it to a climber rather than hanger?
Happy February!! It has been one month since I started hanging out in the community with all of you, and I am just blown away by all the kindness, support, and all-around love here! You are all the BEST!!! 💚 New month, new plants! Let's see some of those new plants!
I could use some advice: I repotted this plant on December 10, 2025 from propagated cuttings. Roots are now growing out the bottom. Should I repot again? I don’t want to shock the plant, but I want it to continue to grow big.
Eeep! 🙈 A few months ago I was worried my Thai Constellation hadn’t pushed out a single leaf after its repot…and now? THREE new leaves later 😍🌿 So proud of this little baby. Proof that patience really pays off 🫶🏼💕
Anyone help identify this Hoya?
The struggle is real
Saturdays are project day, today I made a turtle 🐢 lol Any other ideas on what I can make with succulents? I have nothing for next weekend 😂
What have I done wrong when staking my monstera? I researched beforehand and took pictures of my plant and had it pretty much mapped out for me but I’ll admit I still wasn’t confident. What do I do with those three leaves that are drooping on the bottom? I was instructed not to tie any branches that easily bent to the stake but it seems like they need to be tied? Help! I posted this 2 weeks ago and received one response. I’m hoping I can get more please. For now I tucked the leaves in between other stems so they aren’t drooping. Maybe I have more than one in here and I need to separate and repot?
