What soil type is recommended for Snake plants? My plants are ready for repotting & I wanna ensure they get the best new soil and planter. I keep these indoors in the living room. Water them weekly once. And sometimes use water soluble Miracle Gro 20-20-20 plant food( maybe every1 month) Please recommend the soil type and planter type.

after having a spider plant for a long time and not realizing you can cut + propagate the baby spiderettes, my friend let them grow wild. it got a good haircut (she had 15-20 spiderettes), and i received 9 baby spider plants that i propagated in water and are ready for soil (i think). are they ready to be potted, and if yes, how should they be introduced to soil? how far apart should they be if i plant a few in the same pot? any info/tips about pot size, watering, etc are greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!

What’s that? I’m not sure what I’m looking at but I decided to post the photos here so I don’t forget to watch it. Anne’s photo was updated and these are magnified close ups. It looks like something extra is growing on the top. I’m probably overthinking and it’s just the natural surface. But I’m watching it closely. She was just repotted a few weeks ago.

Monstera help! My monstera overall seem pretty healthy - constantly growing taller and producing new leaves. HOWEVER in the past week I have had two leaves take a turn for the worse - can anyone explain why this might be happening? Trying to fix it before it affects more of the plant!

My zz is super tall, I know it’s time to possibly repot bc I don’t think the stems should be that high from the pot lol (ignore the repot history, I accidentally edited for the wrong plant but is this one ready?)

I have a fiddle leaf fig that I put it outside because I thought it was on deaths door but then it grew 3 new leaves and starting another one my question is the soil is completely drenched from all the rain we've had so should I repot or just leave it the way it is

I recently had to repot my False African Violet since her old pot wasn’t draining properly. I’ve now noticed some browning leaves in certain areas. Does anyone know if this is just from past overwatering or if this could be a new issue? â˜č

Espoma soil: I’m looking to begin switching my plants to Espoma soil based on recommendations I’ve seen on here. So should I use the cactus mix for my succulents and use the potting mix for all my other non succulent plants?

Just bought a new philodendron Brazil. This is my first time owning a philodendron and I am super excited and she looks so beautiful. If there’s any advice or tips that I should know so I can make sure that she thrives in my new home that would be great thank you!

Hey guys. I recently moved into a new apartment. My money tree seems to literally be dying on me. A n bunch of leaves already died off and I’m sure you can see there are a bunch more turning yellow and getting ready to drop. There are some new leaves at the top but my tree is gonna be naked 😭😭 do I chop and prop? Do I wait it out!?!? What do I do!!!

My mom’s decades-old golden pothos. Is it even worth trying to divide it into several pots or should we just repot it it all together?

Hi, I hope I’m not repeating this post. It didn’t seem to go through the first time. Forgive me if you seen this already I need help for this beauty. The plant really likes the sunny spot in my bathroom, but has outgrown the space. I’m thinking I could cut the leggy areas off and start new plants and keep it at the site or should I just put it somewhere else in the house? My main concern is I have two cats and this plant is toxic to animals and humans. (I just found this out.) I don’t have any low windows where I could put it on the floor near a window. Any advice would be helpful thank you.

I will be traveling to the Kissimmee/Orlando area soon. Can someone recommend a great plant place to visit?

This my peace Lily I’ve had for almost 2 years now. I’ve repotted twice since then but not recently. I had a lot of lilies bloom earlier this year but haven’t been caring for it as much as I was previously. Any tips on the black/dead parts of the leaves? Do I trim them or pull the whole leaf off or leave them be?

I received this plant(s) a few weeks ago from a family member. I believe the tall one is a Lemon Lime Dracaena but unsure about the smaller dark green plant. Please let me know any tips, thank you for your help.

Good morning my Plant(a) People!! đŸŒ±đŸȘŽ I have these two propagations. On the left is the one I bought yesterday at a plant festival in this vase and homemade macramĂ©. The lady said it was a Pothos. Ok. The right picture is one my sister gave me from her Pothos. So, I scanned them both with Planta ID and I’m getting conflicting identifications. First, the app told me that the left was a golden pothos, then it told me it’s a Monstera Peru. The leaves on both props look pretty much the same except the left one only ones leaves have the holes. The right one does have one hole in one of the leaves but it’s brown around the hole edges leading me to think it’s not really supposed to be there. I’m just trying to correctly ID them. Thank you!!!

Good Morning Everyone! ☀đŸȘŽ Can anyone tell that if a monstera leaves start to turn in on itself means it needs water. I stuck a little skewer stick in the soul and it comes out a little dark on the tip. You see I’m super paranoid because my last monstera had root rot.
