Look, the Christmâ I mean the Thanksgivâfine, the HALLOWEEN Cactus is blooming!
Can anyone tell me whatâs wrong with my philodendron? Is been fine, until I looked at it tonight, and it had a big spot on the end of its only pure yellow leaf. Itâs not overwater, because I donât water it until it is bone dry. I also have black spot in the house, and it has undergone three sprays of neem oil. TIA for any commentsâŠđ€đđȘŽ
Guys I just really love plants. Iâm ready to turn my house into the jungle I deserve! đ±
I just bought this about 2 weeks ago. Does he need to be put in a bigger pot? Do I unravel the roots? Or just let him be? I also havenât added new soil, do I need to do that as well?
This is what my all allocasia root looks like now. Is it ready to put into soil, or should I take some intermediate steps; someone mentioned something about putting sphagnum moss in the water, I think to help it begin to adjust to soil??? TIA for any helpful comments in getting this poor root on its way to a real life! đ€đđȘŽ PS. It looks like itâs actually putting out some new, baby leaves⊠!!!

Anyone that lives in N.C., have you brought your plants back inside your house yet or are you leaving them out a little longer? I brought mine in about 2 weeks ago but the weather has been in the 70âs during the day and only going below 50 maybe two days a week. So I want to know if maybe I should leave them out a little longer?
Plantaâs telling me I should winterize my mini rosesâŠbut theyâre indoors, so what does this mean for me? The plant is doing well, Iâve kept it in a window that gets bright light all day pretty much (it is west facing), and I use a grow light on cloudy days. Thus far, the plant is doing really well, even though temperatures outside have dropped to 50-60°. Itâs starting to bloom, and I put fertilizer in it every two weeks or so depending on when Planta tells me to. Should I continue what Iâm doing? Or should I stop fertilizing now? I like it to be in bloom, Iâve had the plant for about a year and a half.
What is this small bug on my milkweed? Any help is appreciated.
Was watching a rainforest survival/trek show last night with my hubby and plant nerd me was pointing out all the plants. âThatâs a monstera!â âOmg look at that alocasia!â âWow is that a staghorn fern?â And my hubby just patted my hand and said I know youâre having fun babe but all I see are leaves lol. Non-planty people just wonât get it đđ±đ±đȘŽđ

Got a couple new plants for my birthday! Does anyone have any tips on any of these plants Christmas cactus, pitcher plant and polka dot plant
Might just have to go back to the pet store to get this aquatic plant that reminds us of the colocasia mojito!đż

Starting my tissue culture journey!!
Planted these cuties up - anyone have any experience growing these?
A leaf fell off of my Flamingo Lily, so I put it in water to see if it could be propped! Comments??? TIA⊠đ€đđȘŽ PS. Iâve also noticed a very slight opaque-ish cloud, sort of hovering around the base⊠itâs hardly noticeable. But Iâve rinsed out the glass, rinsed off the root, and put fresh water back in it, two times. Is that the appropriate care for propping this leaf? Is this almost invisible cloud something negative?
I have had a terrible time with BLACK SPOT on my golden mosaic. Sheâs been treated at least three times with neem, and Iâm switching to a copper fungicide for the last spray, and maybe another spray after that. Iâve removed at least 3/4 of her leaves in the past couple months. With black spot, is it necessary to remove all leaves that are touched by that fungus? Also, if you can see those SPIKES THAT ARE DRYING UP, those are whatâs left after I chop off a leaf, (see second photo ). Can those be cut off at the base; theyâre sort of ugly, but Iâm a bit afraid to do anything more that might harm her. Is there a SITE THAT EXPLAINS more than Planta does about this plant? She must belong to the prayer plant family, because she lifts, and lowers her leaves, at strange times of the day. She is a rather unusual, and interesting plant, and Iâd like to understand her better. TIA for any more knowledge about herâŠđ€đđȘŽ PS. How do you make RED MARKS on a picture to show members the areas of your expressed concern? PS. She does have the beginnings of four new leaves, which Iâm extremely happy to see! đ€đ€đ€
Lucky to have friends that share plants. I got some babies!!
